It's only been a few weeks since The Haunting of Hill House hit Netflix, and already the show has acquired millions of fans. And, if you've already seen it, it's not hard to figure out why. With so many thrills, chills, and spine-tingling mysteries worked into its plot, the series is binge-worthy from the very first viewing.
The only trouble is, with only 10 episodes available, it's easy to power through the whole thing in a matter of days.
Thankfully, Netflix has a solution for those of us who have already traversed the corridors of Hill House and devoured the mysteries of the red room, and they come in the form of several short (but seriously creepy) clips on YouTube.

If you've not yet seen the whole show, consider these clips a bone-chilling appetiser for what is yet to come in the series; and, if you have, you should take these bite-sized scares as a sort of palate cleanser for all the horrors you've already witnessed.
This first clip shows Shirley, the oldest daughter of the Crain family, getting out of bed in the middle of the night. Unbeknownst to her, though, she is far from alone in her room.
Next, we see Theo - who, as an adult, is one of the more skeptical of the Cranes - as she notices a closet door that's been left ajar (or has it?).
This third clip perfectly captures the subtlety of the horror you can expect from Hill House, and even beady-eyed viewers might take a little while to work out what's happening in the shot.
Here, we see Hugh - who does not often fall victim to the supernatural goings-on of the house - totally oblivious to his surroundings.
Without giving too much away about the series, we should mention before you watch this clip that the twins (whose beds are shown here) are probably worst affected by the hauntings at Hill House.
Even in this last clip, where nothing particularly terrifying happens, it's easy to gauge the mood of the show.
We're hoping that these aren't the last of the clips Netflix is set to release, because we are absolutely hooked on Hill House.
Even if they are, though, we need not worry; there's already rumours of a second season in the works...
