The Grammys is one of the biggest nights in the music calendar and the stars were out in force to mark the occasion with some serious fashion looks.

From striking hair to new tattoos, and many, many, nude sheer numbers, the red carpet was awash in celebs in their finery as Taylor Swift made history with her fourth Album of the Year win, and viewers were treated to very special performances from Tracy Chapman and Joni Mitchell, too.

Megan Fox is no stranger to a flesh-flashing look on the red carpet, and the Grammys was no exception as she attended a viewing party on the night.

The mom-of-three donned a sheer net dress adorned with sequins which she paired with metallic heels as well as a long, black, fluffy coat.

She also showed off her new pink hair as well as a sleeve tattoo as she posed for photographers on the night.

Taylor Swift channeled Old Hollywood glamor for her turn on the red carpet, opting for a white strapless gown with a structured bodice and swathes of material flowing into a skirt with a thigh split an train.

She broke up the white with black shoes and gloves, pairing the look with a black choker as she kept her hair in an undone style around her shoulders.

The night was all about Taylor as she made history with her fourth Album of the Year win as well as being the subject of a joke by Trevor Noah, which thankfully went down better than Jo Koy's quip at the Golden Globes earlier in the year.

Miley Cyrus is never one to shy away from a bold look, and her hair certainly did the talking at the Grammys.

The singer sported a wild, back-combed, 80s-style hairdo as he took to the red carpet in a dress made entirely of gold safety pins arranged in intricate patterns.

Halle Bailey was another star that stuck to the nude color palette, donning a semi-sheer, floor length gown covered in sparkles.

The actress's dress featured a deep V-neckline and she accentuated it with a long necklace, while she kept her hair in loose waves.

Kelly Clarkson took her son Remington Alexander as her date to the Grammys and they made the most adorable pair on the red carpet.

The singer opted for an elegant off-the-shoulder gown in ivory, while her little boy wore a red velvet suit with an elaborate corsage and studded shoes.

The musician opted for a sheer mesh top that showed off his toned abs, paired with a leather shoulder piece and matching trousers, with pointed toe boots.

The mum-of-two opted for a floor-length sheer dress with an overlay in strings of shiny light blue beads, keeping her long, blonde hair sleek and straight to complete the classy look.

Doja Cat was also in the sheer dress squad as she rocked a nude number, but the thing that had everyone talking was that she appeared to be covered in a host of new tattoos, including on her face.

There's no word on whether they're real or not, but we're predicting they were just a one-off for that evening.

Ed Sheeran is never one to go over the top with his fashion looks, so his Grammy's ensemble was perfectly in keeping with his style.

The musician opted for a casual camo two-piece which he paired with trainers for a laid-back but very stylish look.

Billie Eilish has become something of a fashion chameleon in recent years, but she went back to her oversized roots for the Grammys.

The singer paid tribute to her role on the soundtrack of Barbie by donning a jacket with pink sleeves and the logo on the breast, while her hair contrasted with bright red roots.
