Jameela Jamil's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law character may have superhuman strength. But the actor has revealed that while filming the show she was more than susceptible to injury.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 36-year-old star revealed that the physical demands of the role led to one particularly weird injury in a slightly embarrassing place.

Jamil plays superhuman influencer Titania in the MCU show, which sees her become the chief rival of She-Hulk (played by Tatiana Maslany).

According to The Good Place star, playing comic-book villain Titania involved plenty of strenuous stunts and acrobatic action sequences.

At the Disney+ premier of the show in Hollywood, California, Jamil explained that the physical demands of the role left her "hurting in places that I really didn’t know exists."

"Like, you’ll probably have to bleep this out, but I pulled a muscle in my a**hole," she revealed, adding: "I didn’t know that was possible."

The star laughed off the awkward revelation by joking: "I just felt my publicist’s heart stop beating next to me."

Jamil went on to say that she learned "jiu-jitsu and kung fu and combat in the air" for the show, adding: "I don’t know how much of it ever gets to make it to the big screen, because CGI is bonkers."

But even with the possibility of her stunts not making the final cut, Jamil spoke positively about doing them herself. "That was something I’ve never done before because I’m the ultimate couch potato. I am just a puddle with bangs," she said.

The Misery Index star's awkward injury wasn't the only headline-making moment to come out of the She-Hulk: Attorney At Law premiere.

Set to premiere on Disney+ today (August 18), the show follows Hulk Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters, as she juggles her superhero abilities with her job as a high-flying lawyer.

Despite featuring an appearance from MCU regular Mark Ruffalo, many fans are speaking about boycotting the show because of a controversial bench at its Hollywood premiere.

The green promotional bench - which features a poster for the show - has been slammed as "anti-homeless architecture" because the placement of armrests in the middle of it follows a design used to prevent people from sleeping there.
