Singing sensation Jason Derulo has been forced to defend his penis after a steamy snapshot had the internet wondering whether he’d been indulging in a little light photoshopping. The 30-year-old “Cats” star was accused of enhancing his “anaconda” by numerous disbelieving Instagrammers after sharing the photo from a recent trip to Bali. 

The picture in question, which was posted three days ago, featured a chiselled Derulo emerging from some sort of swimming pool, struggling to contain whatever was in his pants. As well as generating over 400,000 likes, the post inspired several thousand social media users to include more aubergines than you’d find in an industrial-sized eggplant processing facility. 

Incredulous comments included, “I think you have a huge diet coke bottle inside that boxers,” and, “What animal are you hiding in your pants”. Whatever Derulo’s original intentions, it was obvious that there was only one place his followers were looking. 

In order to clear up any confusion around the image and its contents, Derulo revealed that - despite the naysayers - the photo was all Jason. In an interview with TMZ, he explained:

“It was in Bali. I honestly [didn’t] feel like that was going to be my most liked picture when I woke up this morning. I posted the motherf*cker very early. It was [a photo] from months ago. It was not even something that I just did.”

“Photoshop? Photoshop? Don’t make me [pull it out]. There are not enough women in this area. Just know that us Haitians, we look different.”

Obviously, Derulo’s bod has had plenty of tongue’s wagging. But, as the star recently revealed in an interview with Men’s Health, there’s a lot more to the story than turning up to Bali and taking your shirt off. As he put it: 

“For all of you who feel like you don't have the genetics on your side—you feel like you gotta work harder than everybody else; you gotta eat cleaner than everybody else—I'm the same way,' he said about keeping his clean physique for his tour and the movie.”

“Just because your friend can eat pizza and still have abs, that don't mean that you gotta do the same thing. If you know that you gotta eat cleaner, that's what you gotta do. But just know that you're not alone. Shit, I want some pizza too.”

While that may be true, we doubt all the clean eating in the world is going to help with the most eye-catching aspect of that photo.
