A disturbing photo that featured in the defamation lawsuit between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard appears to show poop in the actor's bed.

You probably remember the very public legal battle between Depp and Heard, but here's a quick reminder.

It all started in 2018 after Heard published an op-ed in The Washington Post in which she referred to herself as a victim of domestic abuse, per the Independent.

While she did not name Depp in the piece, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor filed a defamation suit against his ex-wife.

When the jury decided in Depp's favor, Heard was initially ordered to pay more than $10 million in damages to Depp, however, the final figure she owed was lowered due to limitations in the state.

Depp, meanwhile, was ordered to pay Heard $2 million after she filed a countersuit accusing him of defamation after his lawyer, Adam Waldman, called her abuse claims a "hoax."

The trial was filmed and documentaries have since been made, but one image from the case remains as striking as ever.

Depp, who according to the Sun called his wife "Amber Turd" claimed that feces were left on his bed as an act of revenge following a heated argument on Heard's 30th birthday.

He described the incident as a "fitting end" to their marriage, calling it a "crass" act that occurred in their Los Angeles home in April 2016.

Honorary Mr. Justice Nicol, a seasoned judge with over 15 years of experience, was shown three images of the alleged excrement on the sixth day of Depp's libel trial against The Sun.

The British tabloid had labeled Depp a "wife-beater" in a 2018 article, prompting the actor to sue for defamation.

Hilda Vargas, a housekeeper who has worked for Depp for over 30 years, testified that she was "horrified and disgusted" upon discovering what she believed to be "fresh feces" in the couple's bed.

Vargas was adamant that the feces could only have been left by a human.

"I pulled back the top sheet on the bed and saw a large pile of feces," Vargas recounted in her testimony.

"I was horrified and disgusted. It was clear to me that this was human feces. I knew that the feces could not have come from either of Mr Depp's or Ms Heard's two small dogs."

She further explained that she had cleaned up after the couple’s Yorkshire Terriers, Boo and Pistol, on many occasions and noted that their excrement was significantly smaller. "I have never known those dogs to defecate in the bed," she added.

Vargas took photographs of the feces to show Depp's estate manager before washing and changing the sheets.

Yikes.
