Jennifer Aniston sizzled in recent Instagram snaps that showed her getting a haircut while in a bikini top.

The 53-year-old actress posed cheekily for the black and white images which were posted on celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan's Instagram account.

McMillan - who has worked on numerous other celebrities, including Selma Blair, Charlie Puth, and Cameron Diaz - went into detail about his styling methods for Aniston's hair, captioning the images:

"[Throwing] it back. Love a good blowout. Full but straight. To achieve this look [I] take 1 1/2 sections starting at the nape and blowout from towel dried freshly shampooed hair and towel dried, usually no products in hair so the blowout lasts (re wetting the hair if needed with a water bottle)."

The caption continued: "[The] large [Ibiza Hair Tools] brush always delivers. Keep it simple, over direct, and the key is to really lift and dry the roots."

It wasn't long before McMillan's pics were flooded with compliments for the Friends star. One Instagram user commented: "The most beautiful woman in the world [heart eyes emoji] [heart emoji]"

These affirmations would be nothing new for the Los Angeles-born stunner, who was named GQ Magazine's Woman of the Year in 2005 and topped People's Most Beautiful Women list in 2016.

Aniston hasn't been shy about posting her own bikini snaps, sharing carefree images of herself at the beach this summer on her own Instagram.

Besides being renowned for her age-defying looks, the actress also uses her platform and celebrity to speak out on issues close to her heart.

In 2016, she penned an essay for the Huffington Post on the scrutiny women are put through in the media. Aniston decided to put pen to paper for the topic after she became exhausted at the gossip surrounding whether she was pregnant or not.

The essay, titled 'For the Record', was a damning judgment on society's obsession with objectifying women. In it, Aniston wrote: "If I am some kind of symbol to some people out there, then clearly I am an example of the lens through which we, as a society, view our mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, female friends and colleagues. The objectification and scrutiny we put women through is absurd and disturbing.

"Little girls everywhere are absorbing our agreement, passive or otherwise. And it begins early. The message that girls are not pretty unless they’re incredibly thin, that they’re not worthy of our attention unless they look like a supermodel or an actress on the cover of a magazine is something we’re all willingly buying into. This conditioning is something girls then carry into womanhood," she continued.

Her heartfelt words were supported by her famous colleagues, and many news outlets praised her opinion piece, with Harper's Bazaar calling it "powerful."
