Jessica Simpson has revealed how she was able to lose 100 pounds in three years with the help of a nutritionist.
The 42-year-old singer and actress revealed to Extra host Terri Seymour on September 28 that what really helped her lose weight was adjusting her diet.
The 'I Think I’m in Love With You' musician said: "I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right," adding: "I absolutely feel healthy."
"I don't know. I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild," she continued. "I feel younger, actually. I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie."

The menu includes three meals a day to "keep the metabolism humming" as well as smoothies and snacks. While Simpson said that funk food is a rarity for her, sometimes she cheats on her diet with candies like powdered donuts.
The interviewer asked Simpson whether she is "used" to people being "obsessed" with her weight and how she looks. The singer replied: "Oh, gosh, no. Would any woman?"
The Dukes Of Hazzard actress explained that sometimes the backlash against her looks can affect her, saying: "I've been criticized, and it hurts, but I've been every weight and I've been proud of it."
"I decided, 'Okay, everybody is going to talk about my weight all the time, I might as well make money off of it and turn it into a business of selling clothes and acceptance,'" she added.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Simpson admitted on an episode of The Real that to lose the weight she concentrated on making small changes to her lifestyle after she welcomed her daughter Birdie in March 2019.
"I call it determined patience. I believe in setting small goals for yourself because, in my life and how I’ve done it, there’s easy ways to throw in the towel and just feel like it’s impossible," she said. "So, the small goals for me are what helped me achieve the main goal."
Also, Simpson previously revealed in an interview with the Today show that she threw out her scale following years of fluctuating weight and body image issues.
"I threw it out. I have no idea how much I weigh," she said, adding that after tossing the scale, she learned to love her body in every size.
"I always celebrate my body. The fact that it made children is unreal," Simpson said of her three kids, adding, "But you just don’t ever think you’re going to fit back into things. It’s crazy. A woman’s body is phenomenal in what it can do."
