Fans have warned Kylie Jenner that her son's new name has a very crude meaning in another language.
The 25-year-old reality TV star and Travis Scott - who also share a four-year-old daughter Stormi Webster - announced the arrival of their second child on their social media pages in February last year.
At the time, Jenner revealed that she and the 31-year-old rapper had decided to name their now-11-month-old son Wolf Webster, but later disclosed on their Instagram stories that they were changing it.
For almost a year, fans have been eagerly waiting for the Kylie Cosmetics mogul to confirm her son's official name, and now she has, revealing that he is called Aire Webster.
Check out Jenner's post below:Following the sweet reveal, many fans were quick to question what the right way to pronounce the tot's moniker was - debating on whether it's like "Air" or "Airey".
Jenner herself cleared up any confusion by commenting under a post from a fan - who goes by the handle @kyliesnapchat - and writing that it is pronounced "Air" with a red heart emoji.
Although many people were thrilled that Jenner had finally shared her son’s name, others went on social media to advise the star of its very rude meaning in the Arabic language.
Journalist Antoinette Lattouf took to Twitter and wrote: "Umm, should someone tell Kylie Jenner she renamed her son Aire, which is a common Arabic expression for 'my penis' or nah?"
"Anyway, I doubt many people have noticed. After all, Arabic is only spoken by around 415 million people," the writer went on to joke.
In response to Lattouf’s post, one person wrote: "That was my first reaction...she named her kid what?!?"
Another user said of the businesswoman's son's name: "Ok but not me reading an article that Kylie Jenner named her son to what translates as 'my penis' in Arabic. Like this child won’t travel to Dubai or somewhere in the Middle East in his privileged life. Poor kid. Change it back to Wolf."
A third commented: "Arabic speakers are having a field day with this. The Arabic language is full of beautiful words, many of them are used for names. Apparently, she went with Aire. I hope he doesn’t have any Arab friends when he’s older."
A fourth said: "If you’re ever having a bad day. Just think of the poor child of Kylie [Jenner] who renamed her son from Wolf to Aire announced earlier today - so then we find out in Arabic means my d***. Poor kid."
However, others don't understand the fuss with the name, as one person remarked: "Is it even pronounced the same? It’s def not written in the same alphabet. Why is this on my TL? Leave babies and randos named Aire alone."
And, a second person added: "Word has a different meaning in another language that a mother doesn't speak... Shocking. I speak another language, I wouldn't be a d*** if this happened with a Welsh word. I am not a Kardashian fan but this whole thread is s****y."
The Kardashians star previously addressed changing her son's name in September while appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
At the time she said: "We haven't officially, legally changed the name. His name is still Wolf, and his passport is Wolf, but that isn't going to be his name. We're just waiting."
Jenner revealed to the host that she and Scott weren't ready to share his name yet, adding: "Well, you know, Travis does, he likes to sometimes, like one day he'll be like, 'This name is kind of cool' and change it again. So we're just not officially going to change it until maybe."
