A man was forced to fork out for his wife after recognizing Mia Khalifa in public.
Now, we all know that your honeymoon is supposed to be the most romantic vacation of your life, right? You're spending time in an exotic location with the person you care about most in the world as loved-up newlyweds.
So maybe - just MAYBE - while you're there, don't text all your buddies about another woman you've just spotted in your hotel.
This was the situation TikTok influencer Lya Mariella (@lyamariella) found herself in while in Paris with her husband last summer.
Taking to the social media platform, Lya uploaded a video of herself sipping wine, albeit in a manner that did not seem to match the romantic grandeur of the setting she was occupying.

As it turned out, her husband's head had been turned by a pretty well known model and ex-adult star. I say 'pretty well known' - it was perhaps the most notorious ex-adult star of all time, Mia Khalifa.
Captioning her post on TikTok, Lya wrote: "POV: You're in Paris having dinner with your husband when he spots Mia Khalifa, gets way too excited about it & proceeds to text all his friends".
Yes, Lya was left clearly less than enthused about her new husband's actions.
Given Lya's post attracted over four million views, it was always likely to be brought to the attention of Khalifa herself, who is a prominent face on TikTok, with over 37 million followers on the platform.
And when the social media personality saw the video, she dropped Lya a supportive message in response, saying: "Girl my man was on his phone the whole time, I say we throw them all away and go shopping tomorrow."
Mariella then replied with the response we'd all been waiting for: "I'm currently at Hermes across the street, feel free to meet me here."
To which, Khalifa responded: "Good, he owes you a Birkin."
It wasn't long before Mariella had literally secured the bag, showing it off in a follow up video, which Khalifa herself appeared in, with the guilty husband looking rather sheepish as he acknowledges that his bank account has just - rightfully - taken quite a significant hit.
In the video, Khalifa jokes: "I am here at the christening of the baby Birkin. We're not gonna dump it in water just because we wouldn't do that to our baby."
"This was the best meeting ever," she added. "Also her husband that we were talking s*** about is the one filming this right now."
Very pleased with how events had transpired, Mariella added: "What a time to be alive. My Birkin bag's godmother has spoken," as well as thanking Khalifa in the caption by saying, "Couldn't have done it without ya babe."
New besties Mariella and Khalifa then posted another follow up video on TikTok, this time making fun of the situation, captioned: "When you're about to cuss him out for recognizing Mia Khalifa but he hits you with the uno reverse: Birkin edition."
Khalifa added in the caption, "Literal, actual, unbelievably true story." The video amassed over seven million views and thousands upon thousands of comments.
Not a bad way to bag yourself a new Birkin, to be fair.
