Megan Fox has candidly spoken up about the several "abusive relationships" she's had with "very famous people" during a recent interview.
The 37-year-old Transformers actress has penned a book of poems titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, which details the heart-wrenching grief she held from a miscarriage, her experience in Hollywood, as well as her past connections with some well-known people.
In a recent intimate interview with Good Morning America, Fox shared more details about her debut novel and opened up about finding a creative outlet to delve into her "horrific" past relationships.
"This is not an exposé that I wrote or a memoir...But throughout my life, I have been in at least one physically abusive relationship and several psychologically very abusive relationships," she shared.
Watch Fox's interview below:The Jennifer's Body star admitted: "I have only been publicly connected to a few people, but I shared energy with, I guess we could say, who were horrific people. And also very famous - very famous - people. But no one knows that I was involved with those people."
While Fox didn’t name the men she was referring to, she was previously married to Brian Austin Green and romantically linked to actors Shia LeBeouf and David Gallagher.
When it comes to what inspired her to put pen to paper for her poetry book, the star said: "Something inside of me that had to come out because it was going to make me sick."
Fox confirmed that some of the past experiences written are "metaphors" for how she was treated in the acting industry, but also stressed: "None of it is what I would call fictional, those are all real-life experiences that I had."
Fox is engaged to musician Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker) and shares three kids: Noah Shannon, 11, Bodhi Ransom, nine, and seven-year-old Journey River with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
The new author - who disclosed that her famous fiancé encouraged her to write a poetry book - wrote about a "32-year-old narcissist," and a "true love, twin flame," which seemingly are references to MGK.
She also revealed that she suffered a miscarriage with the rapper and spoke about the heartache in poems titled, "I" and "II," which read: "There is an ultrasound by your side of the bed, 10 weeks and 1 day … do you think that if she could have, she would have left a suicide note?
"But now I have to say goodbye. I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides," the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star continued, per Page Six. "I will pay any price, tell me please, what is the ransom for her soul?"
While Pretty Boys Are Poisonous features 70 poems, Fox confessed: "I wrote a lot of things that didn't make it into the book. I was like, 'This is maybe for God's eyes only.'"
She explained that some of the poems she wrote didn't get published for fear of the scrutiny they'd bring her.
"Some of it is too much when you’re a known person," she said. "If I had the freedom of just being a poet and people not really wanting to dig too much into my personal life, I would have included more entries like that."
