Fans outraged after video shows Nick Jonas being groped while performing live on stage

Jonas Brothers fans have been left outraged after footage emerged on social of Nick Jonas appearing to be groped while performing live on stage at The Hollywood Bowl in LA this week.

The footage was first uploaded to Twitter by the account @NickJDaily and shows Nick, Kevin, and Joe on stage wearing multicolored double-breasted suits while playing music for an enthusiastic crowd.

In the video in question, a fan (whose identity is currently unknown) can be seen reaching out to run her hand along Nick's leg and up to his thigh during a rendition of the song 'Only Human'.

A security guard can be seen attempting to deter the fan from violating Nick's personal space, but they can be clearly seen persisting for a few moments more nonetheless.

Although Nick himself has not commented on his being manhandled, a number of his fans have retweeted the video and expressed their concern for him, as well as their disgust over the fan's behavior.

For instance, one Twitter-user wrote: "This is ridiculous no matter how he dresses or how close he is to you he’s has a right to his personal space!! I was at their concert they are so good about interacting with the fans, but nothing gives anyone the right to grab them ?? [sic]"

Meanwhile, someone else added: "This is honestly so hard to watch. Can they not get it through their heads that Nick is clearly uncomfortable as he turns back to look at them and tried to swat their hand away? Ugh, this is not how you should treat them. [They're] people just like us who don’t need to feel violated."

The Jonas Brothers are currently rolling out on their Happiness Begins tour, which will take them to Mexico for five shows beginning in Monterrey October 27. The worldwide tour is scheduled to end in late February 2020.
