Rebel Wilson recently opened up about being banned from Disneyland over a selfie - yeah, you read that right, over a selfie.

During a new interview on The Daily Show with comedian and guest host Hasan Minhaj, the 43-year-old actress revealed that she was banned from her favorite place, Disneyland, for 30 days after breaking one of their rules.

"I did get banned from Disneyland for 30 days because I took a photo inside a secret bathroom, which is illegal, at Disneyland," she explained to Minhaj, who was guest hosting the show.

She went on: "They called me up and said, 'Rebel what 30 days did you not want to come to Disneyland because you’ll be filming a movie or something?'"

"That's how you know you're a celebrity," Minhaj responded, referring to the slight leniency in the ruling.

"Disneyland has like Met Gala rules, where they’re like 'no photos here,' but then you break it and they’re like 'look, we have to punish you, but looking at your Google calendar, what month works for you?'" she revealed, going on to explain that she picked June.

Though the Bridesmaids actress didn't say where or when this little incident took place, Disney fanatics were quick to work out that it probably happened at the VIP Club 33 - which required members to pay between $25,000 to $50,000 to enter and then thousands more to renew the exclusive membership with the club.

According to Thrillist, there is a 10-year waiting list to even be considered for the joint, which sits on Royal Street, squeezed between the shops of New Orleans Square, right around the corner from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

The outlet went on to describe the club as a "mystery" that "hinges on rumors."

Elsewhere during the interview, Wilson also joked about the "gang" culture at Disneyland when discussing groups of adults who wear matching outfits to the venue.

"There's actually gangs at Disneyland," she told the host. "There are like these gangs of adults, and these cool names like the White Rabbits or Children of Thanos, Coco Locos. They have all these gangs, and sometimes they wear matching vests and they walk around and, like, do gang stuff inside Disneyland.

"One of the initiations [to join a gang] was you had to steal the apple from the Snow White ride, and the apple kept getting stolen so many times they had to make it a hologram. Not a physical apple anymore. But don’t ask me how I know about Disneyland gangs, because I will not say."

While Wilson claimed that she wasn't "obsessed" with Disneyland, she revealed that it does play a crucial role in her life.

"It’s just, I go there every weekend and like every important holiday and every important life event," she said.

Watch the interview below:

When speaking of her proposal to her long-term partner Ramona Agruma which took place at Disneyland last month, the actress revealed that she pulled a few string with the CEO Bob Iger before planning the special occasion.

"He's the big, big boss. And I thought, well, if he says yes, then it was meant to be, and I was meant to propose that day at Disneyland," Wilson told Drew Barrymore earlier this week on an episode of her talk show.

"I had to get special permission to get a special area roped off and get the topiary trees in, and you know I had a violinist playing like Disney classics, and it was very, it was really romantic," she said. "I did go to the big boss to get permission."

The 43-year-old, who also recently celebrated her birthday, shared some snapshots of the magical moment on Instagram.

"She [Agruma] said yes. And I was like, 'Do I get down on one knee? What do I do?' And I was like, 'I may as well.' So I got down on one knee, and then she like, what you're doing, goes, 'Well, you can't be the only one on your knee,' so she got down as well," Wilson recalled.

"So it was such a huge thing in my life, and then we went on this new ride, and I go, 'Hang on, I just have to, like,' and I literally collapsed on the floor for five minutes," she added. "And then I go, 'Okay, I'm good. Let's get churros and move on.'"

What a moment! Congratulations to the happy couple!
