Over the past week, the internet has been hooked on the <a href="https://vt.co/entertainment/hailey-biebers-old-tweets-about-justin-bieber-and-selena-gomez-resurface-amid-fresh-drama" target="_blank" rel="noopener">scandal surrounding long-term rivals</a>, Gomez, 30, and Bieber, 26. In the past, we've seen the two stars go head-to-head in a passive-aggressive stage drama led by Bieber who fans believe has had it out for Gomez ever since she got together with Gomez's ex-boyfriend, singer-songwriter Justin Bieber. Years later and the stars apparently haven't yet settled their differences. Given the circumstances, Gomez has decided to take a <a href="https://vt.co/entertainment/selena-gomez-announces-break-from-social-media-amid-hailey-bieber-drama-im-too-old-for-this" target="_blank" rel="noopener">break</a> from social media, telling fans in a TikTok Live that she was "too old" for this type of drama. "I’m going to be taking a second from social media because this is a little silly. I’m 30 and am too old for this. But I love you so much and I’ll see you guys sooner than later," she said. "I’m just gonna take a break from everything," she added.
