In an eventful divisional round playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, it was more than just the on-field action that grabbed headlines.
While the Chiefs secured a 27-24 victory, it was Travis Kelce's older brother, 36-year-old Jason Kelce, who stole the spotlight as the true MVP of the game.
During the game, a shirtless Jason was spotted holding a young Bills fan outside of his Highmark Stadium suite. He did this to allow Travis's girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, a chance to catch a glimpse of the young fan's sign.
Per The Independent, Jason told the young girl: "We’re going to show this to Taylor real quick".
The young Bills supporter also waved to those inside the suite, where Jason's wife, Kylie Kelce, was in attendance.
After the adorable interaction, Jason turned around and posed for a photo for the girl's parents.
Over on social media, Jason's actions as the perfect "Girl Dad" were praised, with one person writing on TikTok: "Jason Kelce is a dad first. Football player second. Made that little lady’s day."
A second added: "Jason Kelce is an absolute angel."
Jason, a former Super Bowl champion, enjoyed the game with his loved ones after the Philadelphia Eagles' disappointing playoff exit the previous week. The Eagles, who had a promising start to the season at 10-1, faltered down the stretch and suffered a 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round. Many believed that this game could have been Jason's final NFL appearance.
Addressing retirement rumors, Jason Kelce discussed the topic on his New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Travis. He emphasized that when the time comes to make an official announcement about his future, it will be done in a definitive manner, showing respect to those who have played a significant role in his career.
"When it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it’ll be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had, and I don’t think it would be respectful or even accurate to be able to do that right after a game like that," Jason said, per the New York Post.
While Jason basked in the camaraderie of Bills Mafia during a tailgate earlier in the day, Taylor Swift, on the other hand, didn't receive the warmest welcome upon her arrival at Highmark Stadium.
The 34-year-old singer was met with boos from disgruntled football fans. Despite the chilly reception, Swift, accompanied by model Cara Delevingne and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, appeared to be in good spirits as they entered the stadium.
The reaction towards Swift wasn't limited to the stadium itself, as football fans across the country expressed their discontent when the NFL broadcast showed the Grammy-winning star on screen.

During the NFL Divisional playoff clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, it was Jason Kelce, the legendary Philadelphia Eagles' ace, who captured the spotlight and overshadowed his brother Travis Kelce's romance with Taylor Swift.
Despite being a sports legend in his own right, Jason Kelce's sibling Travis has been making waves due to his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.
Swift's support for the Chiefs throughout the year has earned her the reputation of a lucky charm for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
However, during the intense game, it was the shirtless and exuberant Jason Kelce who stole the show. After Travis scored a crucial touchdown, Jason celebrated by tearing off his shirt and unleashing a victory roar that echoed throughout the stadium. While his jubilant celebration endeared him to NFL fans, it left his daughter less than impressed, as she sent him a text saying, "Dad's boobs are showing."
This humorous moment was just one of many passionate celebrations during the game. Jason Kelce, the former Philadelphia Eagles center, had traveled to Buffalo to support his younger brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Despite being a retired NFL player, Jason fully embraced the pregame festivities by joining Bills fans in a spirited tailgate party outside Highmark Stadium.
A video circulated on social media showed the retired Kelce sipping beer from what appeared to be a bowling ball, all while fans in blue and red cheered him on enthusiastically. He even dropped the ball at one point but continued to share high fives and handshakes with the gracious hosts. The Kelce brothers' podcast, New Heights, aptly captioned the clip, "Jason Kelce: Man of the People."
Jason had recently announced his retirement from professional football after the Philadelphia Eagles' unexpected elimination by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round. The Eagles had experienced a late-season skid, losing five of their last six games after starting with a promising 10-1 record.
Despite his retirement, Jason traveled to Buffalo to support his brother Travis and was expected to meet Taylor for the first time. Their paths had nearly crossed in November when the Eagles and Chiefs faced off, but the 12-time Grammy winner was on tour, preventing the meeting. As the Chiefs continue their title defense against the Bills, Sunday's highly-anticipated game marks quarterback Patrick Mahomes' first playoff road game, excluding Super Bowls.
Kansas City finished the regular season with an 11-6 record, securing the top spot in the AFC West. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills shared the same record, concluding their season with a remarkable five-game win streak that began with a victory over the Chiefs in early December. The Bills then kicked off the playoffs with a wild card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers to advance.
The victor of Sunday's game will face the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens for the AFC title in the upcoming weekend, setting the stage for more electrifying NFL action.

Jason Kelce is singing the praises of global superstar Taylor Swift in a recent interview.
The attention surrounding Swift's relationship with his younger brother, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, has been a topic of interest in the NFL and beyond.
During a recent interview with WCPO 9, 36-year-old Jason acknowledged the significant attention on Swift and the couple's public appearances - particularly during Chiefs games, where Swift is often spotted watching Travis play.
The Philadelphia Eagles center remarked: "The attention's there because the audience wants to see it, I mean, if people didn't want to see it, they wouldn't be showing it, I know that."
He went on to describe Taylor Swift as a "world star" and the "quintessential artist right now in the world".
He praised her as immensely talented and an "unbelievable role model for young women across the globe." Kelce believes that the NFL would be wise to embrace Swift's influence and recognize her as a role model for young girls.
"The NFL would be probably foolish not to show [Taylor Swift]," he said.
This isn't the first time Jason Kelce has expressed his admiration for Swift this week.
In a recent episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, he humorously welcomed Swift as the "newest member" of the Kansas City Chiefs fan club.
He playfully acknowledged her journey to the Super Bowl, joking: "Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year." Travis, 34, laughed along with his brother, saying: "Thanks for joining the team!"
However, although Jason and many fans may love seeing Taylor appearing on the big screen, it appears that she may not be a fan.
During the AFC championship game (January 28), which saw the Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens go head-to-head at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Swift didn't look too pleased when the cameras were pointed at her. Check out the moment below:
In fact, in a clip from the game, the 'Bad Blood' singer can be seen saying something as she looks up at the screen - with social media users believing that she said the words: "Go away, please".
Following the Chiefs securing their spot at the Super Bowl, Travis was seen kissing Swift on the field during the celebration - with fans swooning over their romantic words to one another.
In a clip posted to social media by both the NFL and CW Sports, the 34-year-old athlete could be seen with the singer as the pair cuddled up to celebrate his victory.
The pair were surrounded by cameras as they pulled each other into a warm embrace with Kelce telling Swift: "Tay, I'm gonna enjoy with the guys."
He then went in for a kiss and told the Grammy-award-winning singer: "I love you."
Swift smirked as she turned to whisper something in her boyfriend's ear, making sure she covered up her mouth so none of the cameras picked up what she was saying.
But after many Swifties turned up the audio, fans think Taylor can be heard telling Travis: "I’ve never been so proud of anyone in my life. Ever."
Of course, thousands of Swifties gathered in the comments to praise the couple.
"Stawp it right now!!! He just called her tay and 'i love you' i can’t rn," wrote one user while another added: "The fact that he said 'I love you', with zero hesitation."
A third also stated that it "makes my heart smile to see athletes celebrating wins with their loved ones."

Travis Kelce has sparked outrage after previous comments about having children resurfaced amid his ongoing romance with Taylor Swift.
The pair's whirlwind relationship has unfolded publicly over the last three months, with the whole thing starting when the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end spoke about his interest in the singer after attending her Eras Tour show at the MetLife Stadium.
Two months later, the 'Love Story' musician broke the internet after she was spotted cheering for the NFL star's football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, alongside his mom, Donna Kelce.
Since then, the 33-year-old artist has attended even more of her beau's games, with the two even spotted holding hands after their surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live earlier this month.
While fans adore Swift's new relationship with the footballer, it seems as though Kelce has left many people upset with his comment about finding a "breeder" to have children with in a previous episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason - who is also an NFL player for the Philadelphia Eagles.
In the February 2023 episode, Jason asked their mother who she was rooting for in a game where the Chiefs would take on the Eagles.
Travis Kelce refers to women as "breeders":"You’ve said in the past to both of us that you root for me because I’ve given you grandkids. I’ve always known that you root for Travis. So who do you actually root for?" he questioned.
The elder Kelce then reiterated the question, this time asking who Donna would choose in a "battle to the death," and she responded by asking Jason who he would pick to save if she and her husband, Ed Kelce, were stranded in the middle of the ocean.
While the mom said she couldn't decide which of her sons to root against, the Philadelphia Eagles player quipped: "Remember if you choose me, Wyatt and Elliotte grow up without a father," to which Travis then chimed in to joke about wanting to start his own family.
"I gotta start breeding," he said. "I’ve gotta start breeding, to all the breeders out there." Jason then reacted to his brother’s remark with: "Please don’t," before Donna advised: "Wait until you find the right person. Find the right person."
However, the Kansas City Chiefs star still doubled down on his plan, as he joked: "I’m gonna find a breeder, and I’m gonna get kids so that mom can love me again."
On X - formerly known as Twitter - fans (including Swifties) have called Kelce out for his apparently sexist comments and contended that he shouldn’t have been referring to women as "breeders".
Sharing screenshots from a news report, one person tweeted: "Well I know for DAMN SURE that shit about ‘having kids within the next year’ is NOT coming from Taylor’s side. She’s got the eras tour booked all through next year, and she’d rather die than cancel a show. but we do know who’s been public about looking for a 'BREEDER.'"
Another angry user wrote that they are "forever grateful" for Swift's ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn because he "kept to himself and is private,'" adding: "It's what makes Travis Kelce's statements from earlier this year about 'finding a breeder' cringe. You are free to say what you want but are not free from the consequences of doing so. Women are not objects."
"'Start breeding' Oh this is just fucking disgusting and it's setting us back so much," someone else remarked. "Women aren't baby-making machines, women are more than the man they're dating, we are more than marriage."
A fourth person added: "Ain’t a Swiftie but don’t have to be one to be weirded out about Travis Kelce calling women 'breeders.' That ain’t it dude."
The comments about the couple's romance come days after Swift made her return to Arrowhead Stadium to watch as the Kansas City Chiefs triumphed in their game against the Los Angeles Chargers on October 22.
Following the game, Chariah Gordon, the partner of Kelce’s teammate Mecole Hardman Jr, took to Instagram to share a snap of the singer and NFL player’s sweet PDA moment.
In the adorable picture, the 1989 musician could be seen standing next to Kelce, reaching to kiss his cheek - seemingly confirming her relationship with the athlete.

Taylor Swift was met with boos as she made her way to boyfriend Travis Kelce's game against the Buffalo Bills.
On Sunday (January 21), the 34-year-old 'Karma' songstress arrived at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo for the Kansas City Chiefs' divisional round playoff match against the Bills.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Swift was spotted rocking her signature red lip and a red beanie amid the cold weather, but instead of cheers, the singer was greeted by disgruntled football fans.
Despite the icy welcome, she appeared to be in great spirits as she walked in with model Cara Delevingne and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Watch the moment below:The boos were not only heard outside the stadium as football fans across the country showed their disdain when the NFL panned to the Grammy-winning star.
One person revealed that they were at the Nashville Bills-Backers-Bar for this game, and said: "The vitriolic shower of boos when Taylor Swift was shown on the screen for the first time… truly filled my heart."
Another chimed in: "The whole bar boo’d once they showed Taylor Swift lmaooo," while a third shared: "This game might be the only time a bar in Hell’s Kitchen has had everyone boo at taylor swift."
Nevertheless, the match proved to be a memorable one for the Kansas City tight-end, as he and quarterback Patrick Mahomes now have the most post-season touchdowns by a pair in NFL history.
Kelce caught two touchdown passes from the 28-year-old, bringing their total of career playoff touchdowns together to 16, surpassing New England Patriots duo Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski's tally of 15.
To celebrate the achievement, the athlete formed a heart with his hands toward his popstar beau, who was in the VIP box with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.
This heartwarming gesture left many Swifties gushing as one penned: "The FEARLESS HEART and a kiss for Taylor I am actually a pool of tears. I love them together so much," while another added: "Travis Kelce giving Taylor Swift the fearless hand heart to celebrate his touchdown is the best thing that’s happened to society in years."
Watch the sweet moment below:While the 'Love Story' songstress didn't invent the sign, she is known for making the loving symbol during her performances, especially during her Fearless (2009) era.
"The heart-hand symbol means something between 'I love you' and 'thank you,'" Swift told The New York Times back in 2011. "It’s just a sweet, simple message that you can deliver without saying a word."
"At the end of my sophomore year, I left school and went out on a radio tour to play free show after free show. I was an unknown act playing shows night after night, and I was constantly trying out all kinds of different moves to try and get a response from the audience," she added.
After winning the game 27-24, the Chiefs have advanced to the AFC Championship and will play the Baltimore Ravens next.
