Fans have all reacted the same way following the news about Taylor Swift and Matty Healy's break up.
On Monday, a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the pair had called it quits after the two realized that they were "not really compatible with each other."
"Taylor and Matty broke up," the source confirmed. "They are both extremely busy and realized they’re not really compatible with each other.
"Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship," they also added.
Swift broke up with her boyfriend of six years, 32-year-old actor Joe Alwyn, earlier this year though the news broke in April.
Sources revealed to ET that the pair had simply grown apart.
"The relationship had just run its course," they said. "It's why [Alwyn] hasn't been spotted at any shows. They simply grew apart and plan to remain friends."
Just a few weeks after the news hit the headlines, the 'You Belong With Me' singer was spotted out and about with the 1975 singer getting a little too cozy for fans' liking.
But thankfully, Swifties can relax now that the chaotic duo has decided to part ways.
Many of them took to social media to say the same thing about the situation...
"Matty is about to write the worst songs of his career, taylor is about to write the best," wrote one user.
A second agreed with the idea, but claimed that Healy will pull through with his break-up song: "One of my favorite parts about matty and taylor being together is that matty will most definitely write the most passionately poetic and romantic love songs that sincerely express his admiration for her, something she has always deserved."
"Hope Taylor Swift releases a song called Manchester Boy it would be the only thing related to her relationship with Matty Healy that I would actually support," this user tweeted, referencing the 33-year-old's tune titled 'London Boy' which fans believe is about Alwyn.
And this person also had ideas about the theme, stating it will most likely be about "forbidden love."
I'm sure we're all pretty aware by now that a massive bulk of Swift's songs are about her ever-so-complicated love life.
From her whirlwind romance with former One Direction member Harry Styles to her biggest regret in her relationship with Taylor Lautner, the critically-acclaimed artist has always subtly dedicated her songs to the men that have come and gone.
However, there seemed to be some stability throughout her love with Alwyn and we were treated to some great tunes such as 'Gorgeous', 'peace' and 'Lavender Haze.'
Speaking of 'peace', a song from her album 'folklore', during an interview with Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone, Swift explained the song is "more rooted in my personal life."
"'Peace' is actually more rooted in my personal life... [Its about] carving out a human life within a public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you’ve met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living.
"I can’t control if there’s going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow," she added.
Paul then asked if her boyfriend Joe "understands" her situation to which she responded: "Oh, absolutely."
'Lavender Haze' is also believed to be about Alwyn Swift previously recalling: "I guess, theoretically when you’re in the lavender haze, you’ll do anything to stay there and not let people bring you down off of that cloud," she said before adding: "My relationship for six years we’ve had to dodge weird rumours, tabloid stuff and we just ignore it so this song is just sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff."
If fans are correct and Swift is about to drop the ultimate banger of 2023, we welcome it with open arms.
