Applebees also offered a $1 Vampire cocktail last month in celebration of the spookiest time of year. Now, we all know that November can be something of a damp squib of a month - Halloween has been and gone and it still feels like ages until Christmas, despite the endless new festive product launches and the alarming startup of Christmas adverts on television. So this $1 vodka cranberry lemonade deal represents something to get excited about in the eleventh month of the year.

Served in a 10-oz mug, these drinks are a mix of vodka, Tropicana lemonade and Ocean Spray cranberry juice.
