A couple has left their social media followers in shock after sharing their recent discovery in a home they've been living in for four years.
Imagine re-decorating your place and stumbling across a "secret" room behind a wall - that was the reality for Aurora Blazingstar and her husband.
Taking to TikTok, the couple gave thousands of social media users a look into their home, where they recently discovered a small, secret room tucked away behind a bookshelf.
"What the f***, we have never seen this in our house and we have lived here for four years," Blazingstar said in a clip posted earlier this month.
The mystery room was discovered when the couple was removing carpet in their basement, only to discover a "sliding drywall pocket door."
Behind the slab was a room with weird, brown stains on the floor, a drain, and then some cables along the wall. It was narrow and had no furniture besides an old mat that lay in the corner of the room.

"This house is from the 90s," Blazingstar laughed as she picked up a little bird ornament she found lying on the floor.
She also suggested that they call the police after closer inspection of what were supposedly "rust" spots on the floor.
"Should we bring in a cadaver dog?" Blazingstar, who is a forensic nurse asked. "No, they’ve probably had a gun safe in here."
Her husband also gave his suggestion on what it could be.
"I think this was meant as a kind of panic room," he said in the video, which has now been viewed almost 900,000 times.
However, other TikTokers were not convinced as they thought it could be something worse.
"Ma'am, that screams murder room. You can only open the door from the outside, there is a floor drain and 'rust' on the floor. I think you guys need to have the police come in and look at that," wrote one user, while another added: "That’s so crazy!!! Are you sure there’s not another secret door in there?!? Maybe you guys have a secret labyrinth running through the house."
A third also chimed in, saying: "Panic rooms do NOT HAVE THE LOCK ON THE OUTSIDE!"
Others, however, thought it was something else altogether.
"That’s the most perfect grow room I've ever seen," wrote this user while another agreed stating: "Everyone settle down, it's just a grow room. You could use it as a panic room though." (A grow room is a dedicated area where somebody can grow plants under ideal conditions.)
Some TikTokers urged the couple not to take any risks and instead, call the police immediately, which it seems they did.
In a follow-up video, the couple confessed that they called the police, just in case there was something more sinister at play here though they confirmed that there was not.
"They did not see any signs of crime, they are not investigating anything, they did not see anything that looked like DNA evidence that needed to be collected, but they were really impressed on how the room was hidden and that is was really cool," she said of the police investigation.
And weirdly enough, that room wasn't the only "secret" one built inside the home.
The TikToker shared that another room was located upstairs was also built in a similar fashion, and is now used as her children's playroom.
