A woman has been urged to call the police or move out of her home after she revealed a seriously creepy hidden room she'd just found.

For many homeowners, finding an extra room in their home without having to renovate or spend tens of thousands on getting some much-needed extra square footage sounds like it would be a dream, right?

What about if that room happens to be hidden in the back of a cabinet in the basement, covered in hand and footprints all over the walls, and with the artwork declaring it's known as the 'love shack'?

Well, that's exactly what happened to one woman and she was just as creeped out as you'd imagine.

The TikTok user, who goes by @bigbrah1, took to the video-sharing platform to give her followers a look at her discovery, and it's safe to say the reaction was pretty extreme.

She posted a clip of her opening up a hidden back door in a cabinet above the toilet in her basement bathroom, which opened into a sizeable space decorated with pink and green painted walls covered in hand and footprints.

Panning down to the bottom of the inner door, she revealed it locked from the inside to, apparently, ensure privacy for those inside, before showing the circumference of the room and revealing a mural declaring it the 'love shack'.

Pairs of handprints had been placed at the top of the walls, while some of the walls even had footprints on them, as well as paintings of a 'love bug' car, and drawings seemingly done by children dotted around.

She simply captioned the - frankly terrifying - video of the room by asking her followers: "what do i do?"

Well, the general consensus seemed to be 'phone the police' as people believed that less than savory things may have happened in that basement room.

Viewers commented: "YALL KNOW WHAT A LOVE SHACK IS RIGHT…" and: "it was either a fun little hide out, or the creepiest thing ever".

Others advised: "call the police", "MOVE MOVE MOVE MOVE", and: "Move out now".

One user wrote: "love shack makes me feel uncomfortable, what happened into there" while another added: "Tell the police like just in case it’s linked to something……"

Some believed it was nothing but an innocent hideout for teens, adding: "What are these comments lol. It locks from the INSIDE. Definitely was a hide out for some sisters who liked the song love shack, so cute!"

One commented: "Y’all saying call the police .. but for what ?", to which the original poster joked: "'hello theres a love shack in my house'".

She later posted some follow-up videos answering questions that viewers had asked, including how to access the creepy room, explaining: "So it's actually in the basement bathroom, so it's even creepier that it's in the basement. You just open the cabinet and then you step on the toilet and then open the door and turn on the light."

The woman also revealed that they knew about the room but she recorded the video when they'd cleared it out to reveal the creepy artwork on the walls, which has since been painted over and the family use the crawl space for storage instead of whatever that 'love shack' may have been used for before.

"It's still very creepy and I don't like coming down here", she admitted, but added: "But I will not be calling the police because girl, what the hell you want me to tell them?!"

She added that it was "definitely made for children" as there wasn't enough space for an adult to stand up in there.

After some viewers questioned whether there may have been a second door to the space due to the amount of stuff they'd managed to get in through an apparently small entrance, she shared another follow-up revealing how she got in and out of the room.

She explained that the opening was more than big enough for an adult to climb through by standing on the toilet lid and hoisting themselves in there, and that they put things in and take things out by having one person get in the room and pass things to and from a person in the basement bathroom, with the hole being large enough to fit their storage bins through easily.

While it's great for storage, there's no doubting that room is seriously creepy all the same.
