One of the downsides of being a parent is having to go watch your children in their school productions. C'mon, kids, in general, are terrible at acting, dancing and singing. Yes, it can be funny, but after about 5 minutes the whole thing becomes a bumbling mess of children bumping into each other and just aimlessly looking around.

However, when one dad's daughter struggled from stage fright during her ballet performance, he turned into a super-dad and did something truly remarkable: he joined her on stage.

Yes, in what is some of the most heartwarming footage you will ever see, Marc Daniels can be seen coming to the aid of his daughter at Hamilton Hall in Bermuda on May 29.

The barrister can be seen giving it his all as he attempts to perform ballet moves besides his two-year-old daughter, Bella. However, Marc's task was made more complex by the fact that he was also holding his daughter Suri in his arms.

Speaking about the incident, the heroic father said:

"Bella was very emotional and needed hugs from her daddy.

"Despite having a tantrum, I can tell she wanted to stay on stage and I didn’t want to discourage her before the big performance by making her be the only one to come off.

"I walked on holding Suri and stood next to her, trying to help build her confidence - I told her I loved her and that she’s an amazing dancer.

"I asked if she wanted to dance with daddy and she nodded, so I thought I’d join in.

"I’ve practiced with them at home on many occasions so it wasn’t unfamiliar to me."

The video quickly went viral online and Marc is now known for his dancing amongst his colleagues:

"Jurors, police officers and members of the prosecution have even been giving me twirls and plies as a token of appreciation for the video.

"Even in court the other day, one of the magistrates made a comment about my moves that prompted the court to erupt into laughter."

While he may have looked the part during the performance, Marc admits that he's a novice when it comes to the world of Ballet. However, he seems to be enjoying the new-found attention.

"Before having the girls I don’t think I’d ever attempted any ballet moves before, but now everyone in Bermuda knows me for my toe-pointing.

"Maybe it’s never too late to become a ballerina!"

Understandably, people were impressed by the father's courage and for getting up on the stage with his daughter, with one commenter writing: "How lovely. Made me cry seeing him dance with her. He will be her best friend forever."

Another user said: "How cool does that family look? And we get force fed the Beckhams everyday! SMH."

Fair play to Daniel's for getting up and getting involved when his child needed some words of encouragement. That's an example of parenting done right!
