A devasting video has been shared online that shows a (pretty amazing-looking) birthday party that a dad threw for his son, but nobody turned up. Tissues at the ready - this is an emotional one. A recent video falls into the 'heartbreaking' category, as it shows a young boy playing by himself at his birthday party after none of his friends decided to come. It's Spiderman themed and has seats and tables to occupy a bunch of kids who have eaten far too much sugar - there's even a trampoline! The video was shared along with the writing: "He invited all his little friends to his party and nobody came," with Paloma Faith's 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' playing over the top to really push us all into a pit of tears. The part of the clip that is a heavy punch to the gut is when the little boy is whacking a Spiderman piñata by himself, meaning he wouldn't have anyone to share the hidden sweets with. The innocence that children bring makes it even worse when they are subjected to moments like this, as encapsulated by the boy as he slumped back on his chair looking disheartened that he is spending his birthday alone. Viewers of the video were saddened by what they had just seen, as one person said: "Aww bless him!
