A mom from Utah was left devastated after claiming to have invited 27 children to her daughter's birthday party... only for none of them to show up on the day.
Breanna Strong, from Salk Lake City, had booked an entire indoor play area and ordered pizza and a Frozen cake for little Avery's third birthday. But when no one turned up for the celebration, she says she was forced to throw it all in the trash.
In a video posted to TikTok, the heartbroken mom posted snippets of the setup, as well as a clip of her daughter sitting by herself eating a slice of pizza.
"Money and time wasted," read one of the captions while another stated that she was going home to "snuggle [her] babies."
Check out the mom's video below:Upon seeing the video, users left comments trying to cheer up the mother-daughter duo.
"I'm so sorry!!! she must have been heartbroken! Next time let us know we will show up and out for her," wrote one person.
"This is a rule at my house," another said. "If we are invited, we’re GOING! We have been the only one that shows up. So sad this happens I’m so sorry!"
"We go to every party we are invited to if we can. Most importantly if we rsvp Yes, we go. You don’t back out unless emergencies," added a third.
Others gave the mom some advice about birthday parties saying, "that's why we don't invite anyone! and just do our own little thing with the kids or take them out."

Some questioned the communication between the mom and other parents, but Breanna quickly shut those rumors down.
"There was a planned event on Facebook," she told the user that questioned whether she followed up. "[Seven] families said they were coming and three changed their rsvp this morning and others didn’t show."
A day before the party, in a post for Instagram, the mom talked about how she was "celebrating [her] girl all weekend" and that Avery couldn't wait to go to her party.
"She’s been talking about it fivever [sic]", she wrote.
So hearing the outcome of the tragic story makes it all the more heartbreaking.
Breanna later updated her concerned followers adding that despite no one turning up, her daughter still had a good time.
"She got everything she wanted," the mom wrote under the video. "Pizza, [Frozen] cake and jungle gym. She didn’t know any different rather than having fun. Just shattered my heart."
Well, rather than having 27 friends wishing her a happy birthday, now Avery has thousands on the internet! Hopefully that will help make up for it!
