Beauty trends are often bizarre. History has shown us this time and time again. Handlebar mustaches might have been all the rage a few decades ago, but in the 2020s, they are most certainly out.
However, when it comes to the nail department, something even more questionable is in: nails decorated with tiny hands and feet - and it is as mindboggling as it sounds.
To see them in all their terrifying glory, check out the video below:Hands on your hands? Outside of a Jim Henson movie like Labyrinth, I can't see how such a look would ever work, but it's a thing, and some people are seriously into it.
Like many bizarre beauty trends (like acrylic toenails, which are also a thing), it appears to have originated on Instagram, and if the comments section is anything to go by, these nails are certainly an acquired taste.
Some people go much further to keep up with the latest trends. Many have got surgery to get "designer" nipples to emulate Kendall Jenner's:One commenter wrote: "This has been the creepiest, insane and ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life".

A second wrote: "What in the world is this monstrosity?"

Clearly lost for words, a third person wrote: "Ugly disgusting horrible creepy".

Meanwhile, a fourth, slightly more favorable commenter wrote: "Hells no. This is awesome but hell of creepy at the same time".

I'm a great believer in the old saying, "each to their own", so if you're looking at these nails and thinking "brilliant idea!" in spite of the predominately negative reactions, you do you.
What do you think of these nails? One thing's for sure, if nothing else, they are guaranteed to turn heads...
