A fashion brand has stunned and baffled social media users after selling very small pair of denim shorts for men.

Shorts are a style favorite among fashion lovers everywhere, but how short is too short? This is the question customers of Shein - an online Chinese fast fashion retailer - have had on their minds after spotting a pair of tiny denim pants for sale.

The shorts in question are called the 'Manfinity Fever City Men Cotton Raw Trim Denim Shorts' and they are available in medium and light wash for $13.33.

After one user shared the minuscule clothing on Twitter, it quickly sparked a range of reactions from shoppers. One unimpressed person wrote: "Yeah.......that's going to be a hard pass for me."

Another disappointed person said: "That’s just wrong in so many ways," while a third chimed in: "LMAO! That's a big HELL NO!" A fourth person said: "That’s a hard pass for me."

The reactions come after the fast fashion company faced backlash after flying a group of influencers on an all-expenses-paid trip to Guangzhou, China, to tour some of its manufacturing facilities

One TikToker named Destene Sudduth - who has more than 4 million followers - shared a video about the experience, saying: "Upon interviewing the workers, a lot of them were really confused and taken back with the child labor questions and the lead-in-the-clothing questions," adding, "They weren't even sweating. We were the ones sweating!"

The ambassadors were instantly hit with criticism from online users who stated that they were participating in a propaganda stunt designed to mislead customers. Due to this, the company officials issued a statement about the controversy, according to NPR.

"Shein is committed to transparency and this trip reflects one way in which we are listening to feedback, providing an opportunity to show a group of influencers how Shein works through a visit to our innovation center and enabling them to share their own insights with their followers," they penned.

However, one influencer named Dani Carbonari - who also goes by Dani DMC - took to her Instagram to announce that she ended a newly signed deal with Shein, which came about after her excited reviews of the visit.

"I have terminated my relationship with Shein upon returning from the trip, and I will no longer be aligned with them or work with them in any capacity now or ever in the future," the plus-size model told her followers. "I made a huge mistake. I always try to lead with me, my younger self and my community in mind, and I let us down. I did us wrong."
