Now, one man named Dr. Michel Rowe - a chiropractor who focuses on preventive health care - has shared a video about the several ways you can get "instant relief" from head pain.

The doctor explained in his TikTok post that it is important to target three key areas "that tend to build tension".

Watch the TikTok below:

The first step the doctor shared is putting two fingers on each side of your head, around the temples, and doing "a light circular massage," for "five to 10 seconds".

“From there, you’re going to move down and do the same thing over the jaw joint, right by the corner of the ear. But as you do this, slowly open and close your mouth," he continued to explain.

Rowe then said the next step takes it to the next level, instructing people to make their fingers into "rakes" and start "raking the side of your head," five to 10 times.

With those three steps complete, Dr. Rowe says: “You’re probably going to notice that one certain spot just offers the most relief. At that point, throw more repetitions in and this is a great exercise that you can use throughout the da,y."

Many people were shocked by how quickly the method worked and shared their awe-struck reactions in the comment section.

"Yo why did this actually work?" one stunned sure wrote, while another claimed that the chiropractor "saved" them.

A third shared that Rowe's video was "really helpful".

However, not everyone was impressed as one commenter alleged that the medic's video made their headache "worse".

A second user chimed in "It didn’t work What is this s**t."

So... I guess Dr. Rowe's method may differ from person to person.

According to the Mayo Clinic, headache symptoms can be managed at home with over-the-counter medications or several natural treatments, including drinking water, taking a nap, and applying a cold compress.

However, if the pain is severe enough to be disrupting your work or personal life, then it's important to book an appointment with your doctor.
