The man who went viral for having the smallest manhood in the world is set to undergo an enhancement procedure.
Michael Phillips, 38, appeared on the UK talk show This Morning back in January, sharing his personal story with thousands across the country and, eventually, the world.
Clips of his interview with hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard went viral within days, as the North Carolina-native revealed that his penis measures just 0.38 inches.
It's significantly below the average of 5.5 inches, and it's something which has sadly affected all facets of his life.
While he became aware of his condition as a teenager, he hoped things would change, admitting: "I was probably in high school, and dealing with girlfriends and stuff like that,
"I thought I was a late bloomer, maybe one day it would be normal size. But it never happened."
But now, it looks like he's taking matters into his own hands.
Speaking to TMZ, Michael has revealed that he's officially booked an appointment to give the size of his manhood a boost.
He revealed that it's been pencilled in for August 17, with a doctor in Charlotte, North Carolina.
There, it is said that he'll get an enhancement with an injection of semi-permanent dermal filler, which is designed to increase girth.
He said that the procedure will set him back around $4,000, though he's been given a financial boost after his GoFundMe earned him well over $13,000.
Michael admitted that while he is considering how to spend the remainder, it will likely go towards appointment fees, follow-up visits and any prescriptions.
In the past, the US citizen compared the size of his erect penis to his pinky nail after being medically diagnosed with a micropenis.
As part of his fundraiser, he explained that his below-half-inch member makes activities like going to the toilet difficult.
Despite initial plans to undergo surgery, Michael had backed out and decided to go for filler instead.
He decided to choose a procedure closer to home instead of accepting an offer from a Beverly Hills doctor, who offered to pump his manhood up for free.
Michael admitted to the publication that he's looking forward to the big day, with the hopes of getting closer to the global average size.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, a micropenis can be caused by fetal testosterone deficiency, which occurs when there is not enough testosterone during development in the womb.
In some cases, the condition can be diagnosed during infancy and treated with hormone therapy to help promote more typical growth.
However, that option was not available for Michael, who has long admitted that he has the smallest penis in the world.
