Mom left stunned after school worker sent 5-year-old son home with a 'cruel' note

A school worker has reportedly been fired from a daycare center after they sent home a five-year-old boy with a note telling his mom to put him on a diet.

Mother Francesca Easdon, who hails from the town of Kingwood in Texas, was shocked to find the offensive note that her son Kyler came home with after class at the Rocking Horse Daycare Centre one day. Francesca had originally given her child a note to take with him which read: "Please tell Kyler that his mommy loves him so much and I’m thinking about him."

However, it appeared as though someone with handwriting too neat and legible to be a classmate had added an annotation to the note, which read: "No! Put him on a diet & go away! [sic]"

Speaking to local news service KTRK in a later interview, Francesca stated: "It took a minute to register, what I even saw and I just kept re-reading it and I just stood there for a minute."

In a recent post on Facebook, Francesca wrote: "So now that I have handled the situation I want to share what happened to Kyler and I. We have been working with Kyler on his eating, he’s extremely picky! I have been introducing new healthy options in his lunchbox and discussed the changes with his school. And for the record, I feel that Kyler is absolutely perfect the way he is, I’m just helping him make healthier choices."

She continued: "First thing this morning I was at the school waiting on the director with my mother in law for a meeting. I was assured that it was being investigated and handled, yet almost no remorse was shown. I also brought to their attention the fact that on his teacher's public Facebook page there were mass posts regarding drug use and other very inappropriate content."

She added: " The teacher that wrote this note confessed while I was at work and was fired, but nothing has been done about the other situations. Zero remorse for their actions. I am disgusted that I put my trust in these people to care for my child and this is what I get in return. I have removed Kyler from this daycare (Rocking Horse Kingwood) and am enrolling him in a beautiful new facility."
