A woman left her husband after cameras within their home revealed the disturbing reality of their marriage.

People break up with their significant others for various reasons, often rooted in fundamental differences or unresolved conflicts. Poor communication and lack of intimacy can create emotional distance, while incompatibility in values, goals, or lifestyles can drive a wedge between partners.

Trust issues, such as infidelity, can irreparably damage the relationship.

External stressors like financial problems, family issues, or personal growth can also strain the bond. Additionally, continuous arguments, differing life goals and lack of support can lead to dissatisfaction and resentment.

Ultimately, as individuals evolve, they may find that their relationship no longer fulfills their needs or brings happiness, prompting them to part ways in search of a better fit for their lives.

On the topic of lack of support, many people who live with their significant others can start to feel resentment for their partner if they are repeatedly expected to do the lion's share of the housework.

It's very rare that you'll find somebody who enjoys cleaning a house, but as a parent, it should be standard that the chores will be shared with your significant other.

It would seem that not everybody got the memo as one woman took to TikTok where she shared footage from inside her home which showed her husband not lifting a finger.

While this may start off as a petty argument, it can be the catalyst for a rift forming between partners and in this instance, it ended in divorce.

Lynalice shared a video of her cleaning her home from top to bottom while the text overlay explained that she had been working 10-hour days for six days, only having a day off because she was sick.

The mother recorded herself making the bed and picking things up off the floor - which her children helped with - while writing: "These rooms don’t get much attention when I’m not here. Especially the kitchen counters."

Lynalice went on: "While summer session was happening, my soon-to-be-ex-husband claimed he couldn’t watch the kids while he was focusing on homework. Now that school is out for break, he doesn’t have that excuse anymore.

"Every single day after I’ve gotten home from work, I’ve been met with one disaster or another caused by inattentive parenting. Shampoo on the carpets in the girls’ room. Nail polish all over Nugget covers, hair and carpet."

The video continued to show Lynalice cleaning the house from top to bottom while listing the things that her partner does and doesn't do around the house, including leaving medication lying around and how he destroyed the dog's food bin out of anger.

Lynalice wrote: "ALL of his attention has been focused on the four vehicles in our driveway that he wants to work on continuously. His obsession has hit an all-time high, and he’s even brought car parts into the dining room and left oil everywhere. This was because he claimed he had to be able to watch the kids and just not doing the task wasn’t an option."

The mother expressed that she wished to leave the house and move away from her soon-to-be ex-husband, but the housing economy is slowing down her ability to move.

People in the comments were quick to defend the mother, as one person wrote: "There is nothing more soul draining than a 'partner' [who] is actually an extra child."

A second added: "Being a single parent while married is the worst. I’m glad you’re changing that for yourself and the kids."

Others commented: "In the chaos, you've created calm and safe places (while parenting). He isn't enough- for you or the kids. You deserve a partner," and: "That man has to go."
