A mom has recently divided the internet after she posted a video of her kids inside a cardboard box with crayons while she did the household chores.
Taking to TikTok, Gabrielle Lynn Dunn decided she was going try out a mommy hack she had seen on the platform which involved taking an old cardboard box and putting her kids inside it with a bunch of colored pencils so that they could draw on the sides while she got some "alone time."
In the clip, the mom-of-two then demonstrates all the things she can do while they are occupied in the box - including vacuuming the house.
"Glad we didn't break down that box yet," she says to her 14.5 thousand followers.
Some people were totally behind the move, even stating that they had used this little trick before.
"Honestly some moms are so genius," wrote one user.
"Yeah but I might be that parent in the box with them lmao. What don’t judge me lmao," another added.
A third joked that this idea was "thinking inside the box."

This user compared kids to pets saying: "Kids are similar to cats in this. Even my nephew prefers his cardboard box," while another TikToker relayed their own experiences with boxes and crayons.
"My mom did this with me and my sisters. the magic box was the best part of cleaning day," they said.

However, others were less than impressed.
"My 2 year old hated this.. he got so mad lol I even tried to make it into a house!" stated this user.
Another added that everything's great until the kids start eating the crayons.
Someone else slammed the mom for creating "future graffiti artists." Yikes.

Other TikTok users were advising the mom that it could potentially rienforce bad behavior.
"Reinforces drawing on walls. RIP," commented one user while another also had a similar response: "Am I the only one thinking this will have them coloring the walls by bedtime."
"Do they not have a bedroom to play in?"

The video has since been viewed 10.8 million times.
What do you think about the little hack?
