It's almost a rite of passage, bringing someone back to your parents' house and having to make that split second decision the following morning.
Am I going to blithely introduce this virtual stranger to my parents as if there is absolutely nothing at all strange or uncomfortable about the situation, or am I going to try and sneak them out of the house, Mission Impossible style, without anyone noticing?
Perhaps, you think, in that slightly giddy panic that washes over you as you contemplate your predicament, perhaps they could wrap themselves in a duvet? And then roll down the stairs in complete silence? And then shed the duvet like a snake shedding its skin and leave the house, never to be seen again? Maybe that would work?

The alternative is admitting to your mother and father that you are a horny teenager who got a bit drunk and brought someone home without a second thought as to the next day consequences.
So tell me, how are we going to sneak the virtual stranger out of the house?
Well, one dad realised that his step-son had gotten himself into exactly this predicament, and so decided to do what any responsible adult surely would, and live-tweet the whole thing.
Well, you know what they say: all's well that ends well.
