Viewers have urged a woman to "divorce" her husband after his "toxic" move was caught on camera at a baseball game.
The footage was captured during a San Francisco Giants game against the Minnesota Twins at Oracle Park and showed a woman making her way back to her seats while carrying her toddler and a large amount of food.
The man sitting beside her remained seated as she approached before eventually standing when she reached the row.
Within hours, the video exploded online, with many viewers suggesting that the woman should divorce the man.
However, it has not been confirmed whether the pair is married or even in a relationship.
The woman's struggle did not go unnoticed by the Giants' announcers, Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow.
"Holy smokes, Mike! Look at this," Kuiper said to Krukow, per Bored Panda.
Krukow then praised the woman's ability to manage everything at once.
"If there’s ever a true definition of a multitasking mother, that is the deal right there," he said.
When the woman reached her seat, the man stood up and appeared to say something to her.
Kuiper quipped: "Did I just hear that guy say, 'Did you forget something?'"
The man appeared to take one of the boxes and start eating instead of taking the baby or helping the mother, who was still holding the other food containers.
"Well, that’s mom of the year right there!" Krukow said, to which Kuiper added: "She’ll be the last one to eat, too."
As the camera stayed on the family, the woman began to speak to another fan sitting nearby.
Kuiper joked: "She just said to that lady, 'I’m gonna smack him right in the nose!'"
The video amassed millions of views in 24 hours and quickly sparked a wave of criticism.
"I hope that lady sees this and reevaluates her relationship. If there wasn't a bigger sign to leave his ass, here it f***ing is," one user slammed. Another blasted: "What a useless man ! Shame on him."
A third chimed in: "For anyone saying she was doing a diaper change its ok. He could of got the food while she did that. The seats arent going anywhere. Didn't even take the food out of her hands so she can get settled tells me everything. Just starts eating. This stressed me out watching it."
A fourth added: "You can tell this isn’t the first time because he’s way too comfortable sitting there while she does everything. People will continue to give you exactly what you continue to accept. I would’ve handed him that baby before he took the first bite."
However, a few defenders urged critics not to jump to conclusions from an out-of-context stadium broadcast clip.
"You don't know the dynamic of their relationship, she could've picked up the food on her way back from the restroom while he watched the seats, please shut up," one commenter argued.
Another reasoned: "She was probably changing the baby's diaper and got the food while she was already near the concessions, chill out lol."
The reaction fed into the wider discussion about the physical and mental work mothers carry within families.
One study highlighted by Bored Panda involved 198,417 female parents. It reportedly found "meaningful declines" in self-reported mental health among mothers from 2016 to 2023.
Another study found that mothers reported taking more responsibility than their partners for 28 of 30 physical household tasks and 29 of 30 cognitive tasks.
Jessica Vernon, a board-certified OB-GYN, said: "The work and time spent on caring for children is undervalued and often invisible."
"Moms often carry the stress and burden of raising children without society acknowledging how this burden affects them," she added. "It leads to burnout and mental health struggles."
