A supermarket chain in the UK has been showered with praise after choosing to advertise their latest clothing range with "unfiltered" and "real" models.

ASDA has recently been utilizing its Instagram pages to promote its new range in the George clothing range. However, rather than fill the social media platform with more filtered and unrealistic modeling shots, they opted to advertise their range with the people who would be wearing their clothes: real women.

In one post shared with the page's 700,000+ followers, model and self-love advocate Bruna Teixeira (@brunna.teixeira_) can be seen modeling a stunning matching set of Entice lingerie.

In the shot, the mom-of-two - who states on her personal Instagram account that "self love is the best type of love" - can be seen proudly displaying her stretch marks in their unfiltered beauty!

This particular post has amassed nearly 13,000 'likes' from Instagram users, with many taking to the comments section to praise George at ASDA for highlighting "real" bodies.

One person commented: "Thank you so much for using different bodies for your underwear campaign."

"Oh hello to this beautiful unfiltered body," added a second.

A third added: "Wonderful to see a real body[...] gorgeous."

Other Instagram users agreed that is was refreshing to see a modeling shot that they could see themselves in, such as this IG user, who commented: "When you can see yourself in a photograph and relate, I feel seen!"

"Finally a lingerie set that shows what I'd typically look like, rather than all the skinny models with perfect tummies," added another.

"Well done Geroge for setting real standards in the industry full of fake perfection. Let's hope other clothing brands follow in the real world footsteps," wrote another.

What's more, ASDA has continued to promote a range of different body types throughout their recent campaigns:

Additionally, the brand shared the following message I'm sure we can all get on board with: "When women are kind to each other, we're so much more powerful."
