A terrifying TikTok video shows the moment a toddler cries "mommy" as she appears to be pulled under her bed by an invisible force.
On Monday, the child's dad, Josh Dean (@joshdean0222 on TikTok) posted the video recorded in his daughter's bedroom before midnight.
Moments into the short clip, the toddler can be seen getting out of bed, walking to one side of the bed, and being "pulled" underneath it.
Clearly frightened, the child suddenly starts crying "mommy". As she shouts for her mom, it appears that she is gradually being pulled further in so that she is under the bed completely.
Check out the eerie video here:Dean wrote in the caption for the video: "My daughter being pulled under the bed… wife thinks she crawled but she was clearly pulled by something!!"
The concerned father also included the hashtags #paranormal, #needanswers, and #wtf.
According to The Daily Mirror, in just one day, the video received about 8 million views. It currently has 11 million views, more than 1 million likes and over 42K comments at the time of writing.
The commenters were completely divided. While many agreed with the dad that she must have been "pulled" by a ghost or some other paranormal force, others were skeptical.
One commenter who argued there was something sinister pulling the child in, wrote: "Oh hell no, she was not crawling she was being pulled after seeing that I would've took me and my kids and left."
Another agreed: "I don't think she would be screaming mommy if she was intentionally crawling under the bed. Sounds like she has seen something that scared her."
A third said: "Girl, you think she was crying and calling for mommy while willingly crawling under the bed?"
A different person chimed in: "There's no way she was scared and crying mommy and just willingly kept crawling under there."
However, a number of the commenters refused to believe there was something supernatural at play and insisted there was a more logical explanation.
This person argued: "The logical explanation is that she wanted to get her toy and went for it then either realized she was stuck or got scared because she was in the dark."
One agreed: "The kid obviously climbed under there looking for a toy. And then cried because they couldn't figure out how to get out... common sense."
A third wrote: "She started crying because she went there and got confused so she couldn't get out. That's common sense people."
