A mom has been told to move house after sharing a spooky TikTok of her daughter talking to her "imaginary friend".

The parent, known only as Jess, began to film after she overheard her daughter laughing in the bathroom, something she initially thought was the "cutest thing".

However, the video, which was later posted to TikTok, quickly took a chilling turn when the child stopped laughing.

This was followed by the sound of a door slamming and the girl proclaiming: "No one leaves the room."

Understandably, by this point in the video, Jess was completely freaked out and stops filming.

She went on to post another update, elaborating on what happened in the spooky video.

The mom explained that after filming, she asked her daughter who she had been talking to, and her daughter informed her that it was her "imaginary friend".

Jess added: "I know she's talked about having imaginary friends before, but she won't tell me about them."

Understandably, the creepy videos did not go unnoticed on TikTok, and at the time of writing, the first video has been viewed over 2.3 million times.

While some TikTok users saw the video as completely innocent, others advised the mother to move out ASAP.

One user wrote: "Kids have imaginary friends. Maybe they're their guardian angels or maybe they just make them up because they have beautiful minds? Just leave it alone."

Whereas a third suggested: "I would just cleanse the house and say whatever is not of love and light to leave. That way if it's an ancestor or spirit guide they won't be kicked."

Meanwhile, a fourth simply joked: "The beginning was adorable but then it turned [into] a hostage situation really quick. She ain't keeping me, it was Mr.Teddy. He stole the diamond."
