A woman has sparked outrage online after she released a pretty detailed list of things that husbands "should never see their wives do".

Relationships are a funny old thing. What usually starts as two people trying to impress each other by being clean-cut and incredibly polite usually turns into pooping with the door open and never sharing food - or is that just me?

Every relationship will be different and people have different ways of showing affection - but how comfortable are we with displaying the sides of ourselves that we normally keep private?

One woman on Twitter has shared an extensive list of things that she believes husbands should never see their wives do - but not everyone agrees.

Ingri Pauline, a nutrition coach and strength and conditioning specialist from Las Vegas took to the social media platform where she stated that if women want to "be treated like a lady" they should "act like one".

So what is on this list of things that she believes women should keep private? Well, it involves: "poop, pop zits, pluck any hair on your face beside an eyebrow, do a face mask, wax your bikini line, and see you in an outfit you would be embarrassed to be seen in by anyone else."

There are understandably disagreements with all of those points, but on a personal note - I love a facemask with my partner so that one is in question for me.

Pauline furthered her comments by adding: "Your husband will inevitably see you at your worst any way and it pays to keep some mystery and act like a lady around him. My husband knows I [go] to the bathroom and I come out looking and feeling better. Thats it. I like to keep it that way as much as possible.

"You will absolutely also give him your worst over the course of your marriage. Manners and mystery are insurance policies against boredom and getting treated like a roommate."

She raises a good point of having good manners with your partner - though it should be assumed that everyone treats their partners with respect anyway.

Safe to say - some people were not happy about the list, as people flooded the comments.

One person said: "Some of us are adults and don’t need to hide basic bodily functions or beauty routine from our partners."

A second added: "Bro, literally after I was discharged from the hospital after giving birth to our daughter, my hubby literally had to hold my hand while I pooped. He watched a whole a** child come out of me. I think he can handle seeing me in 'unlady like' states as it's physically impossible."

Though some people agreed with the nutrition coach, as someone penned: "Absolutely. An air of mystery should be preserved even after marriage. Just as there's some stuff I wouldn't want to see him doing, he shouldn't be seeing you doing all of this stuff either."

What do you think is not acceptable to do in front of your partner? Let us know in the comments!
