Turkish delight is one of the most divisive candies on the planet. For some, the sight is enough to make their stomach recoil, but for others, it's so delicious that they're willing to offer up their siblings to Narnia's evil White Witch...

However, this isn't all that the Turkish delight gin is good for. You can use it in baking, and it goes particularly well with lychee juice – a combination which is known as a Jasper Rose.
The $24.19 (£19.99) bottles are described as being "lusciously flavored with one of the UK's most identifiable childhood treats".

Well, it's official, it's time to start thinking about Christmas.
I don't know if you've noticed, but already the festive adverts have kicked into gear on TV, and brands have been announcing holiday-themed products for a good solid month now.
So really, do we have any choice but to fall into line and clap along to the Christmas countdown?
My one bugbear with the ridiculously early start to the build up to the holiday season is that my excitement usually peaks a good week before Christmas day itself.
I've had the 24/7 Christmas songs radio station on for nearly two months straight, I've bought myself a lovely bottle of candy cane gin liqueur and placed my order for a two-metre long pig in blanket.
Oh, and let's not forget that I've written about practically every festive special limited edition product under the winter sun.
So if you're sitting there planning your festive drinking and snacking as meticulously as I am, your Christmas eve is probably looking something like this at the moment:
Wake up, quick pig in blanket, almond croissant, wrap some presents while drinking candy cane gin liqueur, have a grinch-inspired green cookie, and hang up the buddy-the-elf Christmas wreath.
But if all of that holiday-themed excitement still isn't enough for you then fear not, because I'm bringing you yet more news of festive fare.
That's right, I'm here to tell you about a shimmery 'snow fairy' gin you can buy in time for Christmas from Home Bargains.
The limited edition tipple from Manchester Drinks shimmers when you shake it, stir it and pour it into a glass, for that added touch of pizzaz and theatre to your Christmas cocktail making.
It's a gin liqueur which is 18% ABV, comprising notes of orange, cinnamon and spice. The bottle is just £8 for 50cl and will be available in Hoe Bargains stores across the United Kingdom from Monday November 4.

Lidl is now selling a chocolate orange flavored gin for £18.99.
The 23 fl oz Brecon Chocolate Orange Gin is being included in the budget supermarket's winter-themed Spirits Festival, along with a number of other mouthwatering spirits.
Lidl also includes this serving suggestion: ice and tonic water, garnish with cinnamon, and a twist of orange.
The gin is also being sold on Amazon, which features the following product description:
"Rich velvety chocolate swirls around this gin. Powdery cocoa and silky vanilla succumb to zesty, sweet orange bursts and an unmistakeably full-bodied juniper, Dry cassia bark balanced with smooth fresh cream lingers in the mouth."
The product has received a number of positive reviews on Amazon.
One buyer said the beverage had a "very unique flavor and good gin, for a very reasonable price."
Another buyer simply referred to the item as a "great product!"
A third customer said the beverage was a "wonderful product at a brilliant price."
However, not all of those who bought the chocolate orange flavored gin were impressed with it, with some suggesting it had a "lack of flavor".
One buyer simply wrote: "Not my most favorite."
Another added: "This was nice, but I like my gin with lemonade, for some reason it made the lemonade flat."
A third said: "I was full of enthusiasm and looking forward to this gin. Sadly I found it lacking in flavor, neither orangey or chocolatey. I've tried it with different and indeed no tonic, but still the same lack of flavor. Just tastes of alcohol."

The range also includes the Anno Spiced Cranberry Gin (£19.99), with cranberry, zesty oranges, spicy cloves, and cassia flavors. It goes well with apple juice or tonic, according to Lidl.
And then there's also the Harborough Spirits Company Pear Drop Gin (£19.99). The gin is a specially distilled gin with flavors that include pear and juniper. According to the supermarket, it is served best with tonic or Prosecco.
The new spirits will be available in stores from November 3.

With the UK set to experience a heatwave this week, there's no better time to indulge in a new tipple in the sunshine. Luckily, Asda has just the thing for us to enjoy in the greenery with our friends.
Enter Asda's latest Extra Special gin collection, but this time there's a twist: they're all sweet shop themed.
If you're in the mood for some nostalgia, Asda's new range of sweet shop inspired gin includes the flavors: strawberry laces, cola cubes, and rhubarb and custard.
Part of the supermarket's Extra Special range, they're available in-store today and clock in at £18 each for a 70cl bottle.
Each bottle of gin has an alcohol volume of 40%, making them best enjoyed with some tonic water or a soft drink for a very tasty summertime drink.
First up is the Extra Special Strawberry Laces Gun, which is infused with glitter to make a shimmery alcoholic beverage. You can expect a classic, sweet strawberry flavor, and this is best enjoyed as a fruity cocktail or mixed with some lemonade or tonic water.
Next up is the Extra Special Cola Cube Gin, which has a hint of golden shimmer. Add some ice and lemon for the perfect blast from the past.
Finally, the sweet and sour Extra Rhubard Custard Gin features a tangy rhubarb flavor with creamy vanilla custard.
Speaking about the novel range, the Spirits Product Development Manager at Asda, Marion Muir said: "Novelty gins have become a summer essential for our customers who love to try innovative and wonderful flavors."
"The new range has been created to ensure the gins are both delicious to drink yet also dazzling to look at, delivering popular flavors we know the nation loves, and at a great price point too."
Looks like it's time for a trip to Asda!

The Boutique-y Gin Company have released their own chocolate orange-flavoured gin to add a little zest to your alcohol, and it's on sale to boot. If you head over to Amazon, you'll find it on offer - priced at just £21.95 ($27.93)!
Given that a gin and tonic is my favourite drink, and orange is my favourite flavour of chocolate... I'm pretty psyched about this news. And even if you're not quite as passionate as I am, it's hard to pass up a mixture like this, even out of curiosity.
This looks like an even better deal when you realise it's original pricing is at £33.95 ($43.19). That's a 35 per cent discount, making it more than worth a try- as long as you get in there in time, anyway. Stocks on Amazon are running a little low at the time of writing, so it may be best to get your order in earlier, rather than later.
Saying that, it is also available on Master of Malt, where it's selling for £29.95 ($38.11) - not as cheap, but certainly still a discount from the RRP. On top of all of that... it's sugar-free too!

This summer has been a treat for drinks' lovers and that's putting it mildly.
We've seen a number of popular brands launch mouthwatering concoctions from gin that has anti-aging properties (seriously) to delicious cocktails that you can buy by the gallon (okay that's just in America, but you get my drift).
But the true winner of this drinks competition could be a late entrant, and it has come in the form of Koppaberg's pink rosé cider, which combines a soft apple flavor with the sweetness rosé fans love.
"With rosé ciders becoming the latest trend to hit the UK this summer, we are extremely excited to be bringing our newest addition to the Kopparberg family," said Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing.
"It's the perfect drink for those who like their drinks a little less sweet than traditional fruit ciders and we look forward seeing out new Rosé cider enjoyed together with friends."
However, this is not the first new drink Kopparberg has released this summer. It also released a pink gin that tastes of raspberry and blackcurrant.
If you'd like to get your hands on Kopparberg's new rosé cider, it hit ASDA's shelves yesterday priced at £2.20 ($2.67) a bottle. And it will be arriving at Tesco on August 12, coming in at the slightly cheaper price of £6 ($7.29) for three.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to enjoy an ice-cold rosé cider while the sun is still shining!
