Biden says 'would you shut up, man?' to Trump during presidential debate
The 2020 presidential race is heating up, and Tuesday's debate between Trump and Biden was particularly chaotic.
The first portion of the debate consisted predominantly of Biden, Trump, and moderator Chris Wallace interrupting each other, with Trump, in particular, talking over Biden every time he tried to answer a question.
Biden eventually grew so frustrated with Trump's behavior that he said: "Would you shut up, man?"

Wallace took the opportunity to ask Biden about whether or not he had any intention of supporting ending the Senate filibuster or adding additional justices to the bench.
However, Biden refused to clarify his position on the subject and instead urged the American people to take up their democratic right to vote.
"The American people should speak," Biden said. "Vote and let your senators know how strongly you feel."
As Biden continued to speak, Trump repeatedly asked: "Are you going to pack the court?"
"He doesn't want to answer the question," Trump said.
"I'm not going to answer the question," Biden responded.
"Why won't he answer the question?" Trump said, talking over Biden.
When Biden was unable to finish answering his question, he shut his eyes and said to Trump: "Would you shut up, man?"
Biden then slammed Trump once again by saying, "This is so unpresidential," before Wallace ended the segment.
Trump's rival from the 2016 election, Hilary Clinton, subsequently commented online about Biden telling Trump to shut up.
She told a Twitter follower "You have no idea" when they said that she must have also wanted to tell Trump to shut up during their debates.

This was far from the only time the two men clashed during the first presidential debate, and they also came to blows over subjects including COVID, crime, healthcare and their families.
