Danielle Bregoli - also known by her stage name Bhad Bhabie - is reportedly battling cancer.
Headlines regarding the rapper's heath first circulated online after the 21-year-old - who shot to fame for her "Cash me outside, how 'bout that?" moment on Dr. Phil back in 2016 - took to Instagram to share a cryptic message with followers.
On several of her most recent posts, some fans had commented on changes in the young star's physical appearance.
In a candid response to recent concerns over her noticeable weight loss, the 21-year-old rapper revealed on her Instagram Story on Friday (November 8) that she is "slowly" regaining weight after taking "cancer medicine".
She wrote: "I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me lose weight. I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running [with] the worst narratives."
The young star did not delve into specifics about the type of cancer or the treatments she's undergoing, leaving fans concerned yet supportive.
Further confirming the distressing news, a family source reportedly told TMZ that Bhad Bhabie is indeed battling cancer and is currently under the care of a doctor.
The outlet wrote: "A family source confirms to TMZ ... Bhad Bhabie does have cancer. She's currently under the care of a doctor."

The rapper's mom later confirmed the news in a video shared to social media, the Daily Mail adds, as she called out people claiming her daughter's message was "making it up".
Per the Daily Mail, fans rushed to social media to share the following messages of support for the 21-year-old.
"Bhad Bhabie’s strength shines through as she shares her diagnosis. Wishing her resilience and support on this journey," one person shared.
"Wtffff omg doesn't she have an infant child? Praying for Bhad Bhabie, may she fully recover,' another concerned fan wrote.
"Hope Bhad Bhabie can conquer cancer," a third added, with a fourth bluntly writing: "F*** cancer".
This devastating news comes amidst a significant year for Bregoli, who just months earlier in March joyfully announced the birth of her daughter with her boyfriend, Le Vaughn.
The couple had shared the news of expecting their first child only three months prior.
Prior to her daughter's birth, the 'Bestie' hitmaker sat down with PEOPLE to talk about her journey to motherhood. At the time, Bhabie revealed that she and her boyfriend planned to name their daughter Kali Love.
She also added that despite her being totally "over" pregnancy, she was looking forward to the day she could "dress up and take out" her daughter.
"I'm really excited for her," she said. "I'm definitely going to be giving her some of my little purses and stuff like that."
