The 21-year-old social media star - whose real name is Danielle Bregoli - rose to fame after her appearance on the talk show Dr. Phil in 2016.
Bregoli, who is best known for the catchy phrase "cash me outside," has been swarmed by comments from fans concerned for her health after she shared pictures showing a significant weight loss.
Bregoli seemed to address those comments on her Instagram Stories post, claiming that her slimmed-down figure is because of a recent health battle.
"I'm Sorry my cancer medicine made me [lose] weight. Im slowly gaining it back," she penned, adding: "So stop running w the worst narratives."
The star did not elaborate further on any more details.

Many people were left stunned by the revelation and took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their support for the 'Gucci Flip Flops' rapper.
"Sending healing her way hope she gets well soon," one wrote. "This is really upsetting. I know hard it is. Good luck with everything and sending my prayers !!" a second said.
"Wtffff omg doesn’t she have an infant child? Praying for Bhad Bhabie, may she fully recover," someone else shared.
Others slammed critics for speaking about her body image. "That's exactly the reason why SHOULDN'T talk about someone's body, you don't know what they might be going through," a disgruntled fan penned.
A second commented: "When will y'all learn to stop policing people bodies," while a third blasted: "The medias obsession over celebrities bodies will never not be insane and disgusting she didn’t owe anyone an explanation!!!"
The shocking news comes after Bregoli welcomed her first child, a baby daughter, with her ex Le Vaughn in March this year.
The mom-of-one spoke with PEOPLE about her journey to motherhood and revealed at the time, that she and the father of her baby planned to name their daughter Kali Love.
"The name doesn't really have any specific meaning, it's just his mom picked the middle name and then I had a list of five names I liked, and Kali was one of them," she said at the time. "I thought that Love went good with Kali."
The rapper spoke about the reactions she received after announcing that she was going to be a mother.
"I even see people saying, 'Oh, I don't think she's ready. I don't think she's ready,'" she said. "It's like, 'How can you, from your computer screen, determine if I'm ready to be a mother or not?' I don't even be on [social media], so how can you determine that? You know? It's just kind of off."
