A new crime comedy titled Hit Man, starring Glen Powell and Adria Arjona, arrived on the platform on June 7, earning acclaim from viewers.
The critically-acclaimed flick tells the “somewhat true story” of an undercover police contractor named Gary Johnson (Powell) who unexpectedly discovers that he can pose as a hitman to bring down those enlisting his “services”.
Watch the Hitman trailer below:Thanks to Johnson's disguises and personality, he becomes successful in getting would-be criminals to hand over stacks of money, which is all the New Orleans Police Department needs to bust the perpetrator.
He also decides not to agree to an operation involving Maddy Masters (played by Arjona) - a woman who wants to put out a hit on her abusive husband.
Johnson tells her to use the money to divorce her husband and start a new life but Masters contacts him, and the two quickly develop a romance, making things extremely difficult for his real identity.
