The TikTok creator known as 'Peter Pan girl' has hit back at critics after being blasted by disgruntled users on social media.
You'll have heard of Disney adults while scrolling through apps, but seeing them in action can often leave you scratching your head.
One such example is the woman known on TikTok as @babytoni99, who has gone viral after posting several videos of herself with Peter Pan characters at Disneyland.
Her newfound fame has gained her thousands of new fans, garnering 89,000 followers on the platform in total.
Toni's content is centered around Disney, which includes the princesses, Marvel, or events that take place across the US.
But this isn't what's stirring the controversy - it's her obsession with Peter Pan.
The character Peter Pan, who is permanently around 12 to 14 years old, is one of many iconic Disney figures who are present at Disneyland.
Toni often films herself with the actors playing the famous character, documenting her interactions with the actors over the years.
She even manages to go to Disneyland at least once a week, though she first met Peter Pan over 10 years ago.
Toni posts almost like she is in a couple with Peter Pan, claiming that she has even tried to kiss him while she's giving him handmade presents.
The Disney adult can be seen having conversations with the character in her longer videos, while one even showed her chasing him across the theme park, skipping along.
Most TikTok users have not been the biggest fan of her actions despite her 20,000 spike in followers, as one wrote: “Why hasn’t Disney intervened? Like if the roles were reversed?”
“It’s literally his job to be nice to people omg,” another pointed out.
It's key to note that while the character may be a boy, adults are playing the Neverland inhabitant at Disneyland.
While safety concerns have been highlighted, nothing has been reported that has forced Disney or the actors to take action against the overly enthusiastic 27-year-old.
Since going viral, certain claims have been made against Toni, including the false claim that she is being banned from Disneyland.
While some claimed that she has been handed a two-week ban, with other users claiming in the comments it's a lifetime ban, the creator is still allowed to visit the theme park.
Some users also falsely claimed that she stuck an AirTag in a stuffed toy that she gave to one of the Peter Pans, but there is no evidence that proves this is true.
She may not be doing anything illegal, but it's fair to say that her behavior and conduct with the actors can come across as disturbing and unsettling.

There are some people out there who look as though they've bathed in the fountain of youth. I'm serious, we all know somebody who just doesn't seem to age: no matter what they eat, how much they sleep, or how stressful life gets, wrinkles just don't stick to them.
But this week, an actress and influencer has amazed her social media followers by revealing just how old she really is, and suffice it to say, it truly is astonishing just how baby-faced she appears.
[[tiktokwidget||https://www.tiktok.com/@therealtrismarie/video/6857577224296598790]]
The actress in question is Tris Marie, who took to TikTok to post a video of herself, wearing a pink barbie top. A voiceover plays in the background of the clip, which says: "Alright, this sound is for everyone who looks younger than their actual age and people don’t believe them when you tell them how old you are."

Tris then pointed to the top of the screen, where, incredibly, the number 40 appeared, revealing that, despite looking like a teenager, she's actually a whopping four decades old! Wow!
Tris captioned her video, “In high school I looked like a kid,” and the amazing footage has since been viewed more than 2.4 million times. It also boasts more than 2,500 comments from Tris' stunned fans and followers.
For instance, one TikTok-user, who clearly couldn't believe the evidence of her own eyes, wrote: "I don't believe you, you look younger than me and I'm 31!!! Tell me your secret???? [sic]"
However, Tris was full of compliments for them, and replied in the comments: "Um I totally went to your profile. You don't look 35. Keep taking care of yourself, you're adorable."
So there you have it: next time you see someone you think is no older than 20, show them a little more respect: they might be older than you think!
A 27-year-old Disney fan has hit back at trolls after they cruelly mocked her for getting excited to see Goofy at Disney World.
On May 3, TikToker Sarah Rachul uploaded a video from her recent trip to Orlando, Florida, to her account, where she goes by the handle @everydayisdisney.
In the clip, Rachul can be seen waiting in line to meet Goofy at the Epcot theme park. She's clearly excited, as she jumps up and down and clasps her hands to her chest, before running into the Disney character's arms.
The overlay text says that she's "waited 3 years to hug" Goofy, and there's even more detail as to why he means so much to her in the post's caption.
Check out Rachul's video below:"It might sound silly but my papa’s favorite character was Goofy and when I hug Goofy it’s like hugging my papa again," Rachul wrote, adding: "Thank you so much @disneyparks for making real magic for me today."
Despite the touching backstory, many TikTokers still criticized Rachul for getting so excited about meeting a character.
"Some of y'all grown people need to remember there's another adult in the costume," one commented, while another moaned: "Aaaand this is why Disney is absolutely unbearable to visit."
In an interview with The New York Post, Rachul has since hit back at her haters, saying that their rude words didn't get to her - but that they made her worry about how cyberbullying would affect the future generation.
"I dug into some of these video duets/stitches and comments and lot of the people behind the account are in middle school/high school/college. These are really formative years for learning how to treat others and I’m concerned for how brazen people have become online when criticizing strangers," she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, she explained that she and her parents had started visiting the park every year in honor of her late grandparents, who were Disney Vacation Club members.
She added that she too had been surprised by her emotional reaction to Goofy, saying: "The tears came out of nowhere."
"All the cast members there were wonderful too and Goofy gave me a long hug and a lot of special interaction because he could see it meant a lot to me," she said.
Why anybody would actually troll a person for doing something completely harmless is beyond me. Sarah, you keep doing you!
A woman has hit back after she revealed that cruel trolls told her she looks twice her actual age due to having fillers and Botox.
Botox and fillers have become increasingly popular in recent years, with many young women getting wrinkle-busting injections before they even need them in order to try and prevent the aging process.
However, sometimes the procedures can have the opposite effect and one woman believes this is why trolls have accused her of being twice the age she actually is.
Shawna Faith opened up on TikTok about the cruel comments she receives from her followers, and left fans stunned when she revealed her real age.
She took to TikTok to share a cruel comment she'd received from a follower, who'd told her: "Respectfully you look like you're pushing 45. Stop getting filler or Botox whatever you have it looks so bad."
Shawna hit back at the comment, before revealing that she is in fact just 22 years old - less than half the age the savage comment had said she was.
She told the follower: "Forty-five? I get like maybe late 20s, 30s. I’m 22. Yeah, shocker."
The TikToker had initially started her account by posting videos of her getting fillers and anti-wrinkle injections and admitted that they did spark many hateful comments telling her she looked older than she is.
She added: "There are people on TikTok that hate cosmetic procedures and don’t think you should get them. And again, it’s personal preference. If I want to get filler, I feel like no one should stop me."
Shawna revealed that the comments had initially made her cry and that she used to delete and block the accounts, ut now chooses just to ignore them instead.
She added: "Now I just laugh at it because I know it’s not true. But I do respect your opinion."
Fans flooded the comments to reassure her, writing: "The only people who say that are the ones that can’t afford it, you’re freaking gorgeous!" and: "You are beautiful babe!!!!! Beautiful! I would have guessed 26."
Another commented: "I think their is to many haters seriously..you look great." (sic)
Others warned of the dangers of having tweakments so young, writing: "If you think about skin as an elastic you are stretching your beautiful young skin.. definitely your preference but think about the long run," while someone else added: "Girl I think you look so pretty, but I do think the filler does age you some… beautiful regardless!"
However, it seems Shawna is pretty good at blocking out the haters as she later responded with her own video joking that it was a "get ready with TikTok’s favorite 45-year-old" video.
An 18-year-old girl has stunned her TikTok followers with her own mother's incredibly youthful appearance.
According to The Sun, teenage influencer Veronika Zolotova - who hails from Minsk in Belarus - shared a video in which she stood next to her mom. Although, it could be her sister!
Wearing similar outfits, one pink and the other blue, Veronika asked her followers which one of them was the adolescent girl and which was the 40-year-old parent.
As you can see in the video above, thanks to Zolotova senior's shocking lack of wrinkles, most of Veronika's followers found it hard to even tell them apart, since the two women look more like siblings.
To prove that her mom was indeed the age that she claimed she was, Veronika played a very high-pitched noise that supposedly people over the age of 25 cannot hear.
In the video, Veronika can be seen reacting to it, while her mom appears totally oblivious.
The footage certainly seemed to resonate with other TikTok users and has currently accrued over 33 million views, 3.4 million likes, and a further 58,000 shares as of the time of writing.
For instance, one user joked: "Her mom literally just said copy and paste."
Then this user stated: "No you two can pass as twin sisters and [do] not look like mother and daughter."
Another person commented: "I thought your mum is your sister."
This user then opined: "Girls they are the same, they are both beautiful."
Then another commenter chimed in: "wow your mom looks so young."
Finally, this commenter penned that: "Your mom looks very young and has a lot of resemblance to you."
But this isn't the first time that a TikTok user's spry looks have left others baffled. Indeed, back in 2020, a 30-year-old Russian influencer named Valeria Lipovetsky spoke about how she was often mistaken for the sister of her own son.
In a later YouTube video, Lipovetsky stated that she stayed young-looking by applying Vitamin C serum on her face each morning, as well as by applying retinol to her skin each night.
