Sydney Sweeney is diving headfirst into one of the most bizarre celebrity product launches of the year—literally.
The Euphoria star has teamed up once again with men’s personal care brand Dr. Squatch to release a limited-edition soap called Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss—a bar that contains actual droplets of her bathwater.

Yes, for real.
According to joint Instagram posts from Sweeney and Dr. Squatch, the product was created in response to the overwhelming demand following her viral ad for the brand last October, where she soaked in a bubble bath and teased “dirty little boys” about their hygiene habits.
“You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it,” one post reads. “Introducing Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater.”
“They took the water”
Sweeney didn’t just lend her name to the project—she literally got into the tub for it.
“When we were at the [Dr Squatch] shoot, they had a tub for me. And I actually got in there and I took some soap, and we had a nice little bath and they took the water. So it’s my real bath water,” she told GQ.
She added that she helped design the scent: “I wanted to have it lean towards my home roots, so there’s this really outdoorsy scent of, like, pine and earthy moss and fir. So it smells super manly. But then there’s some city bath water mixed in.”
According to the brand, the soap is “a perfect combination of the two best places on the planet: The outdoors and Sydney Sweeney’s bathtub.” It boasts “refreshing notes of pine, Douglas fir, earthy moss, and a touch of Sydney’s very own bathwater.”
Fans are confused—and obsessed
Online reaction has been predictably wild. Some called the product “epic” and “iconic,” while others were less than thrilled.
“Sydney honey I love you but I don’t know about this,” one Instagram user commented.
Another added, “Geez this is literally sad for humanity.”

But the demand is very real. Only 5,000 bars have been produced, and each comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Priced at $8, Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss goes on sale June 6 at DrSquatch.com. A giveaway promotion will send 100 free bars to fans—if they’re over 18.
“It’s weird in the best way”
Sweeney isn’t denying how odd the concept is.
“When fans start asking for your bathwater, either ignore it or turn it into a soap,” she said in a statement, per The Sun. “It’s weird in the best way.”
The release comes as Sweeney continues to dominate both screens and headlines. Just last year, she addressed the darker side of fame and hypersexualization, telling Variety, “People feel connected and free to be able to speak about me in whatever way they want… That I’m not on a human level anymore, because I’m an actor.”
Now, it looks like she's reclaiming that narrative in a very literal, very lathery way.
