Following the tragic events that saw five children lose their lives in a house fire, over $10,000 has been raised to help support the parents during this difficult time.

As previously reported, the incident unfolded at the 400 block of Anna Circle in Bullhead City, a community in northwestern Arizona near the Arizona-Nevada border, around 5:00PM on Saturday.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, a two-story duplex engulfed in a fierce blaze, but the young victims, aged between two and 13 years old, were unable to escape the inferno.

The deceased children, whose names have not been disclosed, were revealed to be aged two, four, five, 11, and 13 years old, with four of them being siblings and the fifth also a relative.

Emily Fromelt, spokesperson for the Bullhead City Police Department, also confirmed that all five victims lived in the duplex, according to the Daily Mail.

There were no adults present at the property when the fire broke out.

The authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire, prompting investigations by the Bullhead City Police Department, Bullhead City Fire Department, and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

A joint statement issued by the agencies read: "This is an ongoing investigation being handled by the Bullhead City Police Department, with assistance from the Bullhead City Fire Department, Lake Havasu City Fire Department, and ATF Fire Investigators."

Following the devastating incident, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the parents of the deceased children.

Set up by Kilee Stockton, the description reads: "On December 16th, 2023 a tragedy occurred in the 400 block of Anna Circle in Bullhead City, AZ. My dear friend Nikki lost her children in a house fire.

"This money is for all of the parents (Nikki, Nicole, Marcii, John, Lydia, and Brian) to help with any expenses they need. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, but we don't want to wait to start raising money to help their families with services for their children, along with showing the communities support."

At the time of writing, just over $10,000 has been raised, meaning the page has reached its intended target. 171 people have offered their support via a donation.

Eyewitnesses of the event shared pictures and videos capturing firefighters battling the blaze, with smoke billowing around them. Images also revealed the charred window frames of the home and flames blazing out of the property's roof.

Investigations into the devastating incident remain ongoing.

Our thoughts remain with those who have been affected by this tragedy.
