The haunting last words shouted at the missing teen that jumped overboard for a dare have been revealed.

On May 24 at approximately 9:30 PM, chilling footage showing a teenager jumping off the side of a ship surfaced online after his friends dared him to do the risky deed.

Cameron Robbins, 18, was celebrating his high school graduation on Blackbeard's Revenge sunset cruise in the Bahamas last Wednesday when he reportedly jumped overboard for a dare, prompting a large-scale search for him in the waters.

The Louisiana graduate has not yet been located.

The footage shows the teen in his swimming trunks in the deep waters as shocked onlookers watch the scene in front of them.

People were yelling and pleading at him to grab a buoy, but instead, he drifted in the opposite direction before disappearing altogether.

As per Fox News, a woman whose son was friends with Robbins and on the boat told the outlet that "several students tried to grab Robbins before he took the plunge, but he broke free."

The woman also added that many of the students were part of a close-knit community that was in shock, disbelief, exhausted, and cold as the U.S. Coast Guard, Royal Bahamas Defence Force and United Cajun Navy searched the waters until the early hours of the morning.

The Coast Guard called off its own search two days later, after scouring over 325 square miles.

In a statement Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Spado, Coast Guard liaison officer to the Bahamas, said that there were multiple parties involved in the search.

"U.S. Coast Guard District Seven deployed multiple search and rescue assets in response to an agency assistance request from our partners in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force," he said, according to WAFB.

"'Our Coast Guard command center and aircrews based in Miami supported RBDF search and rescue efforts since the initial report Wednesday evening, and continued through Friday evening."

"We were informed by the RBDF this evening that they were suspending the active search efforts pending further developments, and were not requesting further Coast Guard assistance after notifying the Robbins family," they continued, adding: "We offer our sincerest condolences to Cameron Robbins' family and friends."

Since the news, social media users have been re-watching the footage, with many pointing out that the last words Robbins may have heard before being submerged under water are harrowing.

In the clip, a person can be heard shouting "bye bye" to the 18-year-old as he's in the water while others tried to help him back onto the ship.

Many have slammed the response.

"Lol the man says 'bye bye, oh s***'. bro, you should have shouted 'man overboard on starboard/portside!' or maybe because they think he is having a blast, sadly in the end it wasn't fun at all," wrote one user.

"The kid filming is also a dousche: saying 'bye bye!' and other s***. I know he’s a moron for going overboard but why be a d*** while it’s happening?"

A third described the response as "sad": "I’ve watched so many videos of the overboard guy analyzing if there was a shark fin/splash there or not. Why some are saying he went from swimming toward orange safety ring to away into the night. Either way, a sad, avoidable tragedy. The ppl saying bye as he swims away - sad."

In the wake of the tragedy, University Lab School Director Kevin George also penned an emotional statement about the teen.

"The University Lab School Community is praying for the best possible outcome of this situation. I have been in touch with Cameron’s family and at this time, authorities are still searching for him in the Bahamas," he wrote. "In times like these, we must come together and support each other."

"Words fall short of expressing the worry our entire school community is feeling. Extra counselors will be available on campus to speak with students and faculty who are struggling to process this news. Our thoughts are with the Robbins family, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts as well," George added.
