We all have those days where we wonder whether we're in the right job - especially if we're working long hours for barely above minimum wage.
Take this Hooters waitress, for instance, who has gone viral on social media after revealing just how much money she is making per week in tips.
Jona Mustafaraj, 22, has taken to TikTok to reveal how much mula she manages to rake in at the end of a seven-day shift at the restaurant chain.
Born in Albania but raised in Massachusetts, Mustafaraj - who goes by the handle @jonnaalb on the video-sharing app - posted a three-minute video explaining what she earned in tips throughout the week.
On Monday, Mustafaraj worked five hours waitressing from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM instead of her full shift as she revealed it was a slow day, but still managed to get $320. The following day, the college student stated that she was working the bar that evening - evidently a lucrative spot to spend her shift as she went home with a cool $436.
Hump Day rolled around and with it came many more patrons who wanted to spend the middle of the week handing out their cash to Mustafaraj, who was given a total of $431 in cash tips while bartending again that evening. On Thursday, Mustafaraj took home a whopping $650, followed by $514 on Friday.
Over the weekend, the young waitress managed to pull an enviable $820 and $601, for a combined weekly total of $3,772!
Many people rushed to the comments section to voice their opinions, with one person saying: "Literally making me wanna work at hooters [...]."
"You're making more than the managers [...]," another user quipped.
"Meanwhile I make $55 from my 5 hour shift at a grocery store working produce [...]," someone else chimed in. Rough.
Mustafaraj eventually received so many comments that she had to pen a disclaimer, writing that she's likely getting a lot of tips due to the fact that she's worked at the restaurant chain for several years: "Also disclaimer I've worked at the same location for almost 4 years so a lot of the money is from having regulars!!"
In a subsequent post, the college girl warned viewers not to quit their nine-to-fives just yet, saying: "To all the girls saying, 'I'm going to drop out of school, or I'm leaving my job and I'm working at Hooters. It's my dream job,' No! Don't do any of that."
"Not everyone makes this [amount] of money," she admitted, "and not every day is the same."
