A man on the run - who attempted to evade law enforcement by hiding in bushes - managed to, quite literally, blow his own cover by letting out a loud fart.

The fugitive, whose identity remains unknown, had fled to a wooded area near Harworth, Nottinghamshire, in the early hours of the 7th of May with officers in pursuit, per West Bassetlaw Police.

However, he made the mistake of letting rip, which quickly alerted police to his location. The suspect, who was allegedly "wanted for two matters", was then discovered and escorted to Mansfield Custody.
