A burglary suspect was well and truly caught with his pants down when cops confronted and arrested him.
On early Friday (February 29) morning, the Colorado police department released bodycam footage of cops tracking down a suspect and bursting in on him while he was on the toilet.
As the authorities received reports of a burglary in progress, they used a drone to hunt the man down and arrived on the property after 4AM, as revealed in a Facebook post from the department.
The security video shows a heavily armed police officer breaking down an interior door to find the male suspect on the throne with his pants down around his ankles.
Check out the wild footage below:
"Show me your hands," the cops said, which prompted the man to raise both hands. He then appears to be holding something, which he drops to the floor. "I'm on the sh**ter, bro," the suspect calmly responds. "I barely made it." Police then instructed him to stand up, which he did. The man's face, as well as his genitals, are blurred in the video.
Many users found the video humorous and took to the comment section to share their jokes. One user quipped: "Seems like an illegal dumping charge would be more appropriate."
Another user questioned: "But did he ever get to wipe?", while a third commented: "That was a crappy bust. Glad he wasn't a 'runner,'" and a fourth added: "That's a real s**tuation."
However, some people were not pleased with the release of the video as one user slammed: "Does it make you feel powerful to show this footage? He did something wrong. He will be adjudicated by the courts.
"I find it absolutely gross that you made this footage public. It's not necessary and it's only done to boost your egos," they added, while a second user shared a similar sentiment as they penned: "Pretty pathetic you would put that on social media to get a chuckle."

The department shared a cheeky caption alongside the bodycam footage, penning: "While we see a lot of things in the line of doody, we had no clue what awaited us this time!
"You know the ol’ adage ‘caught with your pants down?' Somebody should’ve told this burglary suspect who was arrested by Lakewood Police Agents early this morning," the department added.
According to the post, the alleged perp, who was not identified, was previously involved in a burglary and has been taken to jail where he was charged with second-degree burglary.
The department commended officers for making the arrest, concluding: "Overall great teamwork by our Patrol and Drone Teams."
Further information about the case has not been disclosed.
