Princess Catherine has been spotted at her first public appearance in months - sending Royal fans into a frenzy on social media. Watch her arrive below:

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales was photographed in the back of a car alongside husband Prince William as they arrived at Buckingham Palace. She was then seen in a royal carriage dressed in an all-white ensemble, along with her three children.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are attending the 2024 Trooping the Colour - an annual event performed on Horse Guards Parade in London by regiments of Household Division. The ceremony is a celebration of the official birthday of the British sovereign.

Princess Catherine - who is honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards - recently shared a letter with the Irish Guards, apologizing for missing the event rehearsal on June 8.

The future queen's appearance on Saturday - her first official engagement since Christmas Day last year - also comes less than 24 hours after she shared an update on her cancer treatment. In her statement (which can be read in full below), she admits she's "not out of the woods yet".

Today's sighting has sent fans of the beloved princess into a frenzy on social media, with X users tweeting their support and praise for the Royal.

"We've missed you so much, it's really wonderful that you're here again," one person tweeted. "Princess Catherine is Back!!"

Another added: "There she is [...] First picture of The Princess of Wales with Prince William. Princess Catherine is giving me Audrey Hepburn, she really is absolutely beautiful."

"Oh wow. The Princess of Wales in all her glory today attending Trooping the Colour," another supporter wrote.

"How lovely to see Catherine, Princess of Wales supporting King Charles and the troops today. Beautiful as always," added another X user.

Princess Catherine's full update and message to supporters - which was originally shared to the official Kensington Royal social media channels - can be read below:

"I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.

"I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.

"My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.

"I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.

"I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.

"Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.

We continue to wish Princess Catherine and her family the very best at this time.
