The snapshot, first shared in July, has now gained traction across social media.
In the image, Warshauer and Catherine, now the Princess of Wales, are pictured smiling at a gathering held at Hope Street, the house Catherine shared with Prince William and two other friends, Fergus Boyd and Olivia Bleasdale, during their second year.
The group hosted a party, and the future princess was shown enjoying a brownie bite with her close college friend.
"Sending love to Kate Middleton, the future Queen of England and my university dormmate!” Warshauer captioned the photo. “This was us at a Hope Street flat party. I have the loveliest college memories with Kate.”
Warshauer also shared kind words about her friend, describing her as “the kindest, most caring, down-to-earth, genuine person,” and commended Princess Catherine for “inspiring the world with her compassion and courage.”

Warshauer has shared memories of her friendship with William and Catherine on several occasions, notably after their engagement in 2010.
“I remember the first time I met Kate, thinking, ‘Wow,’” Warshauer told People at the time. “She just had a lovely way about her.”
Reflecting on Prince William’s presence at St. Andrews, Warshauer said: “When he was around, it wasn’t like there was all this pomp and circumstance. He could literally just walk around as a normal guy and people didn’t make a big deal of it.”
Warshauer also recalled the endearing moment Catherine was voted “prettiest girl” in their hall at the close of their first year.
“There was applause, and she was wearing this cool black off-the-shoulder shirt,” she remembered. “She’s very grounded, and that sense of ease comes through in the way she carries herself and the way she just graciously walked up and accepted this award.
“She’s obviously stunning, but she doesn’t act in any way like, ‘Oh, I’m this gorgeous person,’” Warshauer continued. “Kate was just genuine. And I don’t feel like she’ll ever change.”

The photo was posted on July 18, just months after the Princess of Wales publicly disclosed a cancer diagnosis.
The royal underwent surgery in January, where the discovery was made, leading her to begin a preventative course of chemotherapy.
She shared news of her diagnosis in a video released on March 22, addressing her absence from public life, which had led to various speculations.
By September 9, Catherine announced that she had completed her chemotherapy and was “cancer-free.”
Since then, she has resumed her royal responsibilities and is set to attend the Remembrance Day ceremony at The Cenotaph in London, per BBC News.
