Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been praised for her genius response to yet another attack from Marjorie Taylor Greene.

GOP Rep. Greene, 47, took aim at AOC while speaking at a Republican rally in Ohio on Saturday (June 26). The rally was the first to be headlined by former US President Donald Trump since his exit from the White House back in January.

While addressing the crowd, Greene insulted the 31-year-old high-profile Democrat, calling AOC a "little communist from New York City".

Mention of Ocasio-Cortez led to boos from the crowd, as Greene went on to say: "Yeah, lock her up too, that’s a good idea." She also stated that AOC is "not an American" and does not "embrace our American ways".

In response to being called a "little communist", AOC took to Twitter where she responded by sharing a video of Greene's comments, along with the caption: "First of all, I’m taller than her".

The effortless burn has since amassed over 395,000 'likes' and nearly 40,000 retweets in less than 15 hours (as of this writing).

And just in case you were curious, The Independent reports that AOC is one inch taller than Greene, standing at 5ft4".

AOC's simple but effective tweet also received praise from countless Twitter users:

Sadly, however, this is not the first time AOC has had to speak out regarding Greene's persistent attempts at a confrontation.

Last month, Ocasio-Cortez even went as far to say that she believed Greene - who was elected to the House in 2020 - was "deeply unwell".

Take a look at this interview with AOC in the video below:

Speaking with reporters on the subject of the controversial Georgia congresswoman, Ocasio-Cortez stated: "This is a woman that’s deeply unwell."

She continued: "[She] clearly needs help. And her kind of fixation has lasted for several years now. At this point, I think the depth has raised concerns for other members as well.

"I think that this is an assessment that needs to be made by the proper professional."

Per The Hill, Ocasio-Cortez also disparaged Greene in an interview with reporters on Thursday, May 13, stating: "I used to work as a bartender. These are the kinds of people that I threw out of bars all the time.

"For me, this isn’t even about how I feel. It’s that I refuse to allow young women, people of color, people who are standing up for what they believe, to see this kind of intimidation."
