A second elderly woman has gone missing in the same area as Nancy Guthrie, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office has issued an appeal.

Nancy Guthrie has now been missing for nearly 50 days, with little development to report in recent times.

Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of TODAY host Savannah Guthrie, has been missing since the beginning of February when she failed to turn up at a friend’s house.

Since then, there have been many revelations in the case, including footage of a masked armed man on her video doorbell, as well as a number of clues and leads, including blood and DNA information.

However, in recent times, the trail has gone somewhat cold - although police claim they have established a motive.

In that vacuum, people have come up with their own theories about what could have happened, with some suggesting that Nancy could be out of the country, or even worse than that.

Every message sent out by the FBI and Pima County law enforcement about the case has been scrutinized, none more so than a post they shared on March 19 about a second woman who has gone missing.

The second missing woman is Sally Ann Farina

Sally Ann Farina has been reported missing in the area, having last been seen on March 14 near to Northwest Medical Center.

According to the missing persons report, Sally ‘left on her own and has mobility issues’.

The post adds: “Her clothing description at the time she was last seen is unknown.”

Despite the admission that she left on her own in the post, many have questioned whether this is related or not.

It’s likely that it isn’t, but that hasn’t stopped the speculation.
